Payed for a room with river view, had view of trees outside window. 2nd floor room didn’t have a very good view of river

My last visit to this hotel was unpleasant.
Pros:

Room was clean and close to where I wanted to be

Cons:

Front desk staff was rude.. check in required me to stand in line for 10 min twice. It was a special occasion and I wanted a nice experience. I did not get it. I felt overall that the rules of the hotel were more important than the comfort of the guests.

Room was clean. Had coffee maker love that. Breakfast was excellent as usual. Valet staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location, for my purposes, is perfect. But adding $100 to my bill for parking is too much.
Pros:

The room and the breakfast were very good. And the location, for the purpose of the trip, was excellent.

Cons:

Parking fee for overnight is very high -- I did not move my car from the time I arrived until I left -- it is $47/night (I had two nights) and the parking and return of the cars is chaotic. But that is the most I have ever paid for parking my car (other than in New York City).

Our stay felt like a return to hospitality that you don’t see all that often anymore.
Pros:

Breakfast was fantastic, and such a great group of people working. Very welcoming. Loved the space and our room was absolutely lovely. Clean, spacious and felt luxurious.

Cons:

The only thing that could be improved upon was the pool. It felt a little funky and the chlorine smell was a little rough. But the kids enjoyed every second regardless!

Great place.
Pros:

We were staying overnight splitting the journey between Redwoods National Park and Yosemite. We also caught an A’s game while we were here, which is just a five minute walk from the hotel.
Hotel is excellent, roomy modern, comfortable and great service including an early check in.
Really great stay would highly recommend.

Nice stay for a family
Pros:

Location, food, staff, comfortable beds. Overall, room was good for our family. We liked that the bedroom was a separate room so we could watch a movie while the kids were sleeping.

Cons:

It was noisy every night since people were chatting and laughing while drinking at a bar.
The good thing is that you mostly don't hear that in bedrooms due to white noise. This buzzing sound can be disturbing but we were tired and fell asleep without difficulties.
