A little slice of heaven
Pros:

Hacienda Na Ximena has perhaps the best views in any hotel worldwide. The hotel itslef is quite big, but feels cosy and its just heaven to stay there

Amazing staff beautiful location , but hidden costs to be aware of

Great facilities - however when you are paying £1.3k per night there are a few things that you would expect for that amount of money

Cons:

Expensive room and when you book 3 nights you would expect to not have to pay for water ! We had complimentary water on the first day on the room but when you are paying that much per night - we should have had complimentary water every day ! At 10 euros a bottle these are the small things that can turn a stay . Our garden room with a mini pool was amazing but VERY overlooked .. which wasn’t clear on the booking. The cascades also felt like a series of hot tubs - disappointing.

Pros:

Beautiful, secluded hotel with very high standards. Incredible views and it was our honeymoon so the stay was particularly memorable. Amazing place to relax.

Cons:

Winding path leading up to the hotel made us feel travel sick when going externally for dinner. Staff weren’t that helpful when we enquired about doing a room upgrade.

A beautiful place and I hope to return

The view and style of the hotel are both incredible. A very relaxed place to spend time and the staff were lovely. The restaurant was also stunning

Cons:

There were certain things they could improve to match the overall level of the hotel. Given the lack of beach access and challenges of taxis, perhaps including a daily shuttle. Also they should provide water more readily without charge in rooms and throughout the property
