amazing trip would stay again
Pros:

beautiful hotel, friendly staff, great customer service, overall a 10000/10!!!!

Cons:

my room was pretty hot inside when we checked in and it wasn’t cooling down as fast so we asked for a maintenance check and for a fan as well

Well worth a visit for a downtown experience
Pros:

Great hotel in an awesome location. Buzzing city centre at the weekend with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Just a short walk the baseball stadium.

Location and cleanliness

Cons:

The lighting and the air conditioning in the room was terrible. I wish I would've known about it before booking. Was hot all night for 2 nights. Need to get ready before the sun goes down there is 1 small light in the rest room.

Definitely coming back here next time we’re in San Diego!

Upgrade was worth it! Super comfy bed and loved the tub!

Area was a little noisy, but that can’t be helped considering area.

The property is downtown next to the house of blues, a music venue. That should be discussed. Also, the claim of available parking is deceitful and manipulative because they only offer valet parking at a premium $70 a night. They don’t have free parking for their guests

The whole family felt comfortable and loved the hotel.

BEST STAY EVER!!!
Pros:

What can we say about our stay at The Alma, except that is was exceptional! Upon arriving, we were met with a lovely charcuterie plate and treats in our room set up by Ana & Lena, who had also upgraded us to a suite (with a Nespresso machine??? Yesss!). The front desk staff were always friendly, including Jorge, Tre, Axel, and, we’re not biased, but Grace is the best (haha, she’s our daughter). Kudos to Ericka for the fabulous coffee and thrift store recs (that we ran out of time for sadly). Miriam did an amazing job keeping our room fresh, she even folded my son’s pj bottoms. 😂 All in all, y’all made our stay memorable in the best way. We can’t wait to book a return!

Great location, comfortable stay, and friendly staff. I would happily stay here again.
Pros:

The hotel was clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was excellent with easy access to downtown attractions, restaurants, and transportation. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a pleasant stay overall.

Cons:

My only suggestion would be to add a mini microwave in the rooms.

funcionalidade, academia, quarto grande e confortável, banheiro bom, localização, bar e o local onde é servido o café da manhã; aliás, muito bom. O valor de $50,00 para o café da manhã foi suficiente para nós 4.

Cons:

estacionamento excessivamente caro. Também não gostei de uma cobrança de $20,00 que nos dava direito a pegar alguns itens como snack. Achei caro e sem sentido, pois não tenho o hábito de comer o que eles ofereciam.

Comfortable room, Grace was fantastic
Pros:

The staff here were nothing short of superb. Grace welcomed me, remembered it was my birthday and sent me to my room with a snack bag and some wine! I was blown away at the level of friendliness and service at the Alma.
