The street side was a bit sketchy looking, but the property was clean and rooms seemed newer.
Pros:

The front desk folks were great. The room was clean and seemed newer. The shower got hot instantly.

Cons:

The eggs for breakfast were a bit rubbery, but the sausage was good. I would have liked some yogurt. Being in an industrial area initially scared me a bit, but it was safe. I had issues with the door not having a complete lock and the sink backing up a bit.

By the river. Beautiful view.

Hot Tub was very hot. 108. The staff did respond by changing the setting.

One of the long term guests would sit outside on the lounging chairs, smoke and watch videos on his phone with the sound turned up. I could hear it from inside my room. I'm not sure why the staff did not take any action. Perhaps a friend of the family.

Surprisingly good.
Pros:

The stay was nice comfortable. Aside from a swarm of bees, the stay was restful, not stressful. Decent location.

Great, except the slippery bathtub.
Pros:

Our room had a balcony overlooking the river, which we loved. The breakfast choice was unexpected. I expected a pre-packaged muffin & coffee, but it included sausage, eggs, bagels, cereal, toast, fruit etc, which was a great start to a long day of driving.

Cons:

My big concern was that the bathtub bottom was slippery, and I did not feel confident that I wouldn't slip on it and fall having a shower. I'm in my mid-70's, but in excellent health & good mobility, but any age could slip in those tubs. I put a towel down to keep me safe from slipping (which it did) but a hotel shouldn't risk having slippery bathtub floor!!!!

Clean and comfortable, beautiful view, friendly staff.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location is lovely- overlooking the river, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable (we had a family suite) and the breakfast was very good! We usually stay up the hill where all the other hotels are but this was a nice change. Would stay here again.

Nice location, not worth the physical strain

The location on the N Thompson River was delightful

Cons:

Stairs, stairs stairs. I am 75, my husband 80. I had requested ground floor as the information provided did not indicate an elevator. We had a 3rd floor room, halfway between 2 sets of stairs. So… very difficult.
Also the bed was about as firm as plywood.
