Nice location and nice staff but property needs a good cleaning tho.

Location is great and the staff were very helpful and kind at the front desk and in the kitchen.

Cons:

Our bedding was very dirty and we had to get clean sheets and a blanket at 11pm when we went to go to sleep because they were filthy and covered with black marks all over. The bed sheet and bottom sheet needed to be thrown out if they were “cleaned” as they were stained. Also couldn’t get towels or pool towels for 4 hours during the middle of the day because we were told numerous times they were doing laundry. They need to get better/more cleaning staff for rooms and pool area.

Lovely Hotel by the river perfect spot to sit outside and enjoy the scenery.
Pros:

Loved the outlook. Very clean and presentable. Staff very helpful.

Cons:

No lift. Hard to carry suitcases up the stairs.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend this motel.
Pros:

We were really impressed with our stay. The motel was great for what it is and actually felt a little nicer than the photos I had seen online, especially from the outside. Check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious, with a full kitchen and separate living room from the bedroom. The inclusive breakfast was a lovely touch. It does get busy, but that’s to be expected anywhere offering a complimentary breakfast. Our room had a great view looking out over the river, which was a real highlight.

Cons:

The only issue we had was that there was a beehive under our balcony, which meant we couldn’t really use the balcony without the risk of disturbing the bees. Of course, bees need somewhere to live, and we wouldn’t want them removed unnecessarily, but it would have been helpful to be advised about it beforehand as we got spooked :)

Good place to stay with a nice view.
Pros:

Room was clean and well kept. Nice view of the Thompson river. I liked that they kept up the outdoor amenities (patio/beach chairs) along the river front so you can enjoy the view.

Cons:

No complaints.
