La moquette in camera
The reception, bar and lift were really nice. Location was great for us near the train and metro to get into Rome city and 24 minutes to airport. Shops nearby. Breakfast was varied and good quality. My daughter loved the pancake machine. Beds were comfortable. Shower was powerful.
No smart TV. No iron or ironing room provided. Hairdryer kept cutting out. No proper cups in the room, no teaspoon for tea and no wine glasses provided. Mini bar fridge was not very cold. There were three of us in the room and so it was a bit of a squeeze with three suitcases open. Aircon leaked on day 2.

The hotel is in a good location and it is a nice hotel but our stay was not pleasant.
The first night the air con did not work, i complained and as it was 22.00 hrs i can understand that it would not be repaired, the hotel staff gave us a fan which helped. The next day We returned from our sight seeing to find the air con still not working, it was one off the hottest days of the year so i complained again and told them it is unacceptable. after being awkward they eventually found us a different room with air con. This is not a cheap hotel so i would expect better.
The room service was good. The check in and check our process was smooth
Considering the per day tariff paid for the room, I was expecting better variety for breakfast. I did not expect boiled eggs to be served straight out of the refrigerator. Boiled eggs are supposed to be served warm and freshly boiled. Also, I was expecting cooked vegetables to be served during breakfast which was missing.

I think I liked kind of everything: staff, room was spacious, breakfast had a good variety (pancake machine was a hit for our child), TV actually worked. The most I liked was actually the area around the hotel. There are a lot of good restaurants near by. The metro and trainstation to and from the airport is near, so moving with a large baggage by foot is easily doable. Aircondition saved from the heat.
We're a bit more used to Nordic and greener hotels so everyday room cleaning felt a bit personal space invading, but I believe this is highly personal preference.
