Excellent location and comfortable stay, but AC should be improved
Pros:

Great location next to Paddington station which connects easily to Heathrow airport and most of the city touristic site.
Updated and confortable room.
Unfortunately no AC in room, just a cooling system which doesn’t t cope on hot days.
Nice Buffet breakfast .
Food and beverage options to a good standard at the bar.

Ich hatte zuvor auf AIRBNB was gebucht was eine Katastrophe war. Ich habe sontan um zwei Uhr nachts über Booking.com eine Zimmer in diesem Hotel gebucht. Wir waren um 07.00 schon da um das Gepäck zu deponieren. Check-In wäre um 15.00 gewesen. Trotzdem haben sie für uns sofort (5 Stunden nach Buchung) ein Zimmer gefunden und wird konnten es sofort beziehen. Das war echt sehr Kundenorientiert. Das Zimmer war perfekt. Nur die Badewanne zu klein, das liegt aber daran dass ich eine Riese bin. :)
Frühstück was super. Definitiv perfekte Preis/Leistung. Ich werde dieses Hotel zukünftig immer buchen wenn ich in London bin und was suche was bezahlbar ist. Top Lage war das Tüpfelchen auf dem i!!!

Gutes Hotel in London, nahe der Paddington Station.
Pros:

Guten Anbindungen zur Paddington Station und allen notwendigen Anbindungen.
Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Frühstück war lecker.

Cons:

Das Zimmer ist indie Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Auffrischung benötigen.
Baulärm während des Aufenthaltes.

Für London mit Familie würden wir dieses Hotel immer wieder wählen.
Pros:

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und dass unsere Kinder beim Frühstück nichts extra zahlen mussten, war super. Die Frühstücksauswahl und Atmosphäre im Frühstücksraum war ebenfalls ganz toll und entspannt. Wir sind in der Zeit während der Renovierung dort gewesen und die Bauzeiten wurden für unsere Tagesplanung super angepasst, so dass wir kaum etwas davon mitbekommen haben.

Cons:

Wir sind sehr früh morgens angereist und konnten erst ab nachmittags ins Zimmer. Allerdings liegt das an unserer Reiseplanung und wir konnten sowohl die Koffer unterstellen als auch das allgemeine Hotel Bad benutzen.

NO AC and CONSTANT DRILLING!
Pros:

The hotel is average and would get 3 stars out of 5 but what really got to us was 1) NO AIR CONDITIONING and the London heat was horrible. 2) CONSTANT DRILLING as they're currently undergoing refurbishment.

Lovely location and staff.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and very quiet. It was clean and well maintained.

Cons:

The music at breakfast was horrible intrusive jazz - who likes it?
There was no washhand basin in the loo, you had to go into the bathroom to wash hands and the shower gel and shampoo were fixed in the shower. Inconvenient for the bath if you do not bring your own.

Good place to stay near Paddington.
Pros:

The room was clean & comfortable. The pool looked nice but water was a bit cold, so I didn't use it.

Cons:

There was a lot of construction going on while we were there which I hadn't known about. Also, the A/C didn't work well during the heatwave.

Gute Lage, großes Zimmer.
Pros:

Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer und das war für Londoner Verhältnisse sehr geräumig. In der Gegend gibt es viele Möglichkeiten zum Frühstücken. Über Paddington Station gibt es eine gute Verkehrsanbindung in die City oder z.B. auch mit der Elizabeth-Line nach Heathrow.

A good hotel in a lovely area.
Pros:

A late checking was quick and efficient. Friendly staff and breakfast had a lot to choose from. We didn't get time to use the pool but would book in again to use those facilities.

Cons:

The room was very hot at check-in as the main switch was off to the room. It took a while to cool down.

Pros:

We got an upgrade in our room (standard room is extremely small for a family of four) promptly.
The location is super family friendly and efficient in transports. Breakfast, grounds, staff, all was great. Pool and spa area also very good.

Cons:

A lot of echoing noise in the rooms at night, probably the air conditioning ducts, even when the ac was not working.
