A hot visit to London made better by excellent service!
Pros:

We stayed in this hotel in June during the massive heatwave. It was 38 degrees celcius in London! There were four of us - one adult and three teenagers - and I had booked a family room. First the not so good things: there is no AC in the rooms in this hotel; it has what staff referred to as a which is not the same as AC. It does the job, but the hotel should be upfront and not say . Someone had to go reset the system in the hallway when we first got there because there was nothing happening in the room and it was stuffy. Also, the room had one bed and one sofa bed that pulled out into two twin beds, but when we first got there my daughter sat on one of the pull-outs and went through it! Two of the very spaced out slats had become dislodged. Not a great experience. Third and last negative was the size of the family room: very small! Now with the good, which, in my view, outweighed the bad. The staff was amazing and helped us with all of the issues, including fixing the sofa bed while we were out sightseeing. They went above and beyond when my daughter's knee was swollen and brought an ice pack to our room and refused a tip no less! The breakfast buffet was really good and the location of the hotel could not be better with it being 10 minute walk from Paddington station, 5 minute walk to a Starbucks. The lobby and restaurant appear to have been recently redone and are very welcoming! All and all, we would go back.

Lovely Hotel Close to Paddington Station
Pros:

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and the location is very good--close to the Tube.

Cons:

When I got in my room, the couch was pulled out into a bed. I asked that it be put back into couch position and this was done.

Først ved ankomst opplyses det arbeid på hotellet. Vi ble vekket av borring i veggene kl 9 som varte helt frem til kl 15-16. Det var ikke forenelig med å hverken nyte en lengre morgen i ferien med søvn eller oppholde seg på hotell rommet.
