An Experience - Not a Hotel
Pros:

The resort, the experience, the grounds and especially the people were phenomenal form arrival to departure. The location of the hotel is ideal as it is close to the piers as well as Pike's Market and restaurants. Despite the location the rooms and resort is quiet.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable as the hotel offered an upgrade given our special occasion. The staff was attentive and referenced us by name during the course of our stay.

What is so unique about Four Seasons is they always go the extra step on small things consistently - it is as though it is a standard of behavior.

Great Location but not quite Four Seasons Excellence
Pros:

After a luxury Alaskan cruise, we chose the Four Seasons Seattle as we have enjoyed stays in Four Season Hotels all over the world and also because of its location a couple of blocks from the popular waterfront Pike Place Market.

While we enjoyed our stay and our room, there were details and general lack of attentiveness well below Four Seasons standards and our expectations. Perhaps there were too many pre-and-post cruise passenger guests, perhaps the area franchisee. Lobby bar service was slow while bartenders chatted with each other, concierge appeared to be not well informed. And there was noticeable hesitation to offer the Hotel’s courtesy car.

Cons:

Staff told us dinner was until 10, we showed up at 9:05 and were turned away. A little disappointing but we found exceptional sushi across the street

We love this hotel for its' standard of service and its' location, right in the heart of the city.
Pros:

Our second stay here - just fabulous apart from the building/renovation noise during the night. The restaurant is lovely with a great choice of food and beverages. The staff just can't do enough for you.

Cons:

We did ask for a quiet room, but encountered the hotel having some building/renovation work taking place during the middle of the night. This interrupted out sleep on two nights. The hotel did compensate us for this, but really for a hotel of this standard and reputation, you do expect a "perfect" stay.

Pros:

Very unwelcoming reception staffs
Paid premium rate for a suite which was literally empty.
Experienced an extremely ignorant waiter at breakfast. Went out of his way to welcome and serve a family which arrived 20 minutes after us and were served at exactly the same time as us.
Water was not replenished in room, no chocolates at turn down like other guests have suggested.

Bell man was absolutely fantastic, I only wish I knew his name. Very conveniently located to the waterfront and city. Clean and nice property but doesn’t have the finesse of many others.
