Great location close to centre of Kendal. Good value (prices), breakfast very good, staff pleasant and helpful
No parking - but used Cricket Club parking close by. Decor a bit tatty and dated (could do with a refurb), but good value for money.
Staff were very helpful and friendly
Clean, well located, met expectations

Room was comfortable and quiet.
Staffing ssues meant that to room wasn't cleaned reglarly and we had to go to the front desk for towels, toilet paper! and coffee. Parking situaion was a challenge for 79 and 76 year olds.
Room was lovely, spacious with plenty of cupboard space. Needed some glasses or plastic cups in thebathroom

The hotel is well presented and our room was spacious and the bathroom clean and well maintained. Helpful staff gave us a warm welcome and when we couldn’t find our pen gave us one.
Kettle & coffee/tea making were available and appreciated.
Notwithstanding our comments below, this is a good little hotel and we would recommend it.
Regarding our room (101) there was an odor when we first entered the room. We opened the windows to get some fresh air into the room.
Finding parking is a little tricky depending on the time of day one arrives. Nearby street parking is 1 hour. We could leave our car there from 4:00 pm because restrictions stop at 5:00pm and we could leave it there until 9:00am because restrictions start again at 8:00am.
Well located close to train and bus stations. Efficient breakfast service.
Lumpy mattress. Did not sleep well. Basic maintenance lacking
It was central and clean apart from a dirty cup in the bathroom
The single beds are too small for men and rhere was not toilet brushes
Rummet var stort. Skön säng.
Heltäckningsmattor som kändes sunkiga! Fönstret gick inte att öppna. Behövde renoveras Ingen parkering!
Lovely welcome.
Parking was 200 uds up the road
The room was lean and the staff friendly.
Good breakfast.
The one evening meal we had, lasagne was very disappointing.
The bed was comfortable and everywhere clean
The menu had lasagne dixnt have any also wanted a gin for my husband didnt have none didnt have car park had to park down the road at cricket club it was my husbands birthday and was looking forward to it but was very dissappointed so left tuesday morning
Location , great for getting about within walking distance around Kendal
A little dated very low on staff
Location and price. Other hotels in the area are so much more expensive. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a short walk to bars and eateries, so for us, a very pleasant stay over.
Excellent value hotel, very friendly, clean and well run. Very good cooked breakfast and extremely convenient location if travelling by train.
Road-facing room a little noisy. Old property so floorboards creaky from adjacent rooms. There didn’t seem to be air conditioning.
