Great location, clean but tired rooms
Pros:

The staff were really.friendly and helpful, the lobby serves coffee and snacks for free. The hotel is well situated in the city. The room is really large for Japan with great views over the whole city, and views from the bathroom too

Cons:

The rooms are a little outdated, and could do with sprucing up. They are clean to a point, but could do with a little modernisation.

Japanische Hotelzimmer sind nicht unbedingt für 1,90 m große Europäer geeignet. Das erkennt man besonders an den kleinen Nasszellen.

Pros:

I liked that they had luggage storage, so I could leave my luggage before check-in and after check-out. I loved the laundry room; I was able to wash and dry my clothes after days of traveling.

Cons:

Unfortunately, there's no money exchange machine in the laundry room. If you don't have 100 yen coins, you'll have to go down to reception to ask for change.

Another thing I didn't like was the carpet. I found it dated, unhygienic, and in many areas it wasn't properly laid, obstructing the normal passage of suitcases.
