Great location for us. Room was clean and decorated decently. Bed was awesome, mattress, sheets, pillows fantastic. The climate control in the room worked great. Very quiet there and.no Guests slammed their door coming or going.
The television lineup stinks. Most reading this probably have a Netflix account, I do not. Without an account Makes watching television painful.
Breakfast was awesome!
Staff very responsive
Layout and lighting of the room could have been more convenient
It was clean, the reception desk clerks were very nice. Breakfast was included.
I thought the price was a little high.
Great location! There’s a Dunkin next door! Very clean and nice hotel! Kids loved the pool. The room was large and updated. Breakfast was great as well!
The bed…. Hard as a rock. My back was killing me. Small pillows. I was using two of them and felt like I had no support.
Clean , quiet , and everyone was pleasant !!
Would have liked more pillows . We stayed in the same room as last year and the toilet wasn't working well again . We think it should be replaced .
This is a great example of what staying in a hotel should look like. Nothing particularly extraordinary but absolutely zero complaints. Staff was friendly, rooms were spotless, pool was great (great hours too), logged into our own streaming services on the TV (and auto-logged out after checkout), nice shower heads, and a really awesome complimentary breakfast. Stayed for a night to visit the aquarium and couldn't have asked for more from this place.
Room was great! Had the king plus Murphy bed room and it was a great space- could use some direction on how the bed works but loved the pocket doors.
We arrived late- probably 10:00 pm and there was a commotion outside of the entrance- a person in an electric car parked in the yellow lines of a handicapped spot to charge his car. A older person yelled at him to move bc he had tried to park there earlier and hotel management told him he had to move. He has COPD and was having a hard time breathing. This took some time to decipher what was happening all the while I was trying to get in the building bc the self check in device recognized me but would not proceed farther to unlock the door and we just wanted to get our luggage in the building and move away from the screaming. After knocking on the door repeatedly and calling the phone number, a manager opened the door and let us in, apologized. Really not the best start of our stay. We stay at Hampton inns all the time- hotel of choice but I am not a fan of the self check in- not good when it is late at night, in an unfamiliar area and there is trouble and you want to get somewhere safe
Great location, helpful staff
Our air conditioner didn't work well but the staff quickly looked into it and moved us to another room
Cracking big room, very comfortable and clean. Friendly reception and restaurant staff. Good price for size and standard of room. Location a little bit out of downtown Mystic but not too far.
Breakfast was so-so..
Room was large and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast could have been better. Sausage was overcooked. Scrambled eggs should be a choice everyday if one does not like western omelets (our first morning).
The location was ideal for our plans.
Our first room was freezing and staff gave instructions for the thermostat. When the temperature did not moderate, a staff member came to correct the thermostat. When we returned from dinner at 10 pm, the room was still freezing and I complained to the same staff member. We were offered a new room and told there would be a "credit" on our bill. We switched rooms after 10 pm with no instructions for the operation of the handicapped automatic window drapes. We stayed for two nights and, upon departure, no credit was shown on our bill.
The staff was so friendly, the room was clean and a good size. The location was perfect! Close to town without being right in the middle of all the craziness. Everything about the hotel itself was beautiful!
It was a bit expensive, and I expected more than a sink, mini fridge, and coffee in the kitchen for the price.
