Evitar este hotel
Pros:

La piscina llena de niños que no te permitía relajarte, era como si se accediera a la piscina sin necesidad de estar alojado.
Igualmente en el comedor que no te dejan cenar excepto en la zona piscina bajo la lluvia, cuando se lo dices al personal se ríen de ti en tu cara y les da exactamente igual.

Cons:

Tuvo su belleza quizás hace 20/30 años, ahora es un anticuado hotel, sucio, con personal grosero que te hace sentir mal en todo momento. No volvería nunca más a este hotel.

Nice hotel, just outside the city.

Ruim opgezet resort. Personeel was super behulpzaam!

Assolutamente da valutare
Pros:

Abbiamo dormito solo una notte. Posizione strategica vicino all’aeroporto di Sandakan; si può raggiungere con l centro anche a piedi (15 min.) e comodissima per raggiungere il molo dove partono le escursione per Turtle Island. Camera e bagno ampie e pulite. Piscina esterna ok anche se non siamo riusciti ad utilizzarla. Abbiamo cenato al Bistrot interno molto bene e a prezzi contenuti. Colazione ok anche se più portate salate che non dolci (d’altronde siamo solo noi italiani che amiamo i dolci 😂).

Ruime schone kamer. Eenvoudig ontbijt, maar prima. Bedden prima, maar voor mij nog steeds wel wat hard. Prima ligging tov vliegveld en Sandakan centrum en Sandakan jetty point/haven. Wij hebben het gebruikt als overnachtingsplek de dag voor een tour naar Turtle Island en Kinabatangan river. De haven van waar we vertrokken lag op 15 mins afstand. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Drankje besteld aan de bar en werd aangeboden om het naar de kamer te brengen. Geen gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad, maar zag er wel mooi uit.

Cons:

Eigenlijk viel niks tegen. Is een zeer betaalbare optie voor de geboden luxe. In plaats van 1 super grote handdoek en 1 mini handdoek, zou een handdoek voor het hoofd erg fijn zijn voor dames die lang haar hebben.

Schönes Hotel mit tollem Pool zum Entspannen
Pros:

Wir hatten eines der größeren Zimmer mit Balkon, welches wirklich schön war.
Der Pool war fantastisch. Dahinter geht es gleich in den Regenwald.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Essen war unterschiedlich, manches richtig gut, manches ok.

Cons:

Das Geschirr am Pool wurde nicht abgeräumt.

Very enjoyable stay
Pros:

Pool was lovely , lobby /bar was traditional and pretty .
Staff were friendly
Especially concierge Maul… and lady in bar Dip and waiter in plantation cafe

Cons:

Rooms a little tired and duvets under covers had some marks. I didn’t look further as didn’t want to know! Bed was comfortable

Our 5 night stay at the Sabah Hotel was nothing short of perfect ❤️
Pros:

We found absolutely nothing to complain about.This hotel is fantastic!Everything was clean and beautifully arranged and nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff.The swimming pool and grounds are a dream come true offering a peaceful and tranquil environment to relax and enjoy.The food was top quality from the restaurant and always served with a smile.All in all a full 10 out of 10 from us .Thank you Sabah Hotel for the 5 nights we stayed 👍
