Great location but poor view.
Pros:

The room was great but did not have the seaview we requested. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Breakfast was poor and lukewarm.
We paid for a seaview room but our view was of part of the harbour and the town. We complained but were told no-one had complained about the view before. This was incorrect as a scan of previous reviews found a similar complaint.
We complained to booking.com who said they would contact the hotel and get back to us within 24hrs. A week later and there has been no response!!!!!
We were also charged substantially more by booking.com than if we had booked direct to the hotel.

Lovely traditional hotel in great location
Pros:

Lovely location overlooking Oban harbour. Room was traditional and very spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful

Cons:

We had trouble parking in the car park by the hotel so had to park 10 mins walk away.
We had a problem with no hot water for shower - however staff did their best to resolve this

Cons:

L’hôtel manque de rénovation ; c’est dommage, car son côté vieillot pourrait pourtant lui donner un charme cosy.
8 places de parking seulement. Mais parking à côté presque gratuit.

Tolles Haus aus einer anderen Zeit.
