Empfehlenswertes Hotel
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage am Bute Park und Cardiff Castle. Man überquert nur die Strasse und ist im Park. In der Nähe Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. 15 Min. vom Bahnhof (mit Gepäck), ohne 10 Minuten.
Alles unkompliziert.
Sehr freundliches Personal. Man kann im Hotel essen.

Cons:

Die Lage neben dem Sportstadion, dafür kann jedoch das Hotel nichts. Ich finde es nicht schön, das ist jedoch meine ganz persönliche Meinung. Andere Leute sind wahrscheinlich davon begeistert.

Brilliant staff and location - and spotlessly clean
Pros:

The staff here were exemplary - always polite, super-helpful and very efficient. The breakfast was also very good, with lots of choice and in a very nice dining area. The room was also immaculately clean.

Cons:

The room - in terms of the furnishings and fixtures and fittings - did feel a little dated.

Pros:

Breakfast was good. Everything we wanted was tasty. Dining room was well laid out, you didn’t feel crowded and staff were friendly and efficient.

Pros:

Everything so very clean, ate a few welsh cakes at the front desk, handy for buses outside away from the town enough to be very quiet and a short walk to town, beautiful park across the road we loved it

Super friendly & clean stay in Cardiff.
Pros:

Super-friendly staff, great bar & dining area where they had made a good effort to make it wheelchair accessible. Food good, hotel clean.

Cons:

Standard rooms, entrance very narrow, only just got in by pushing on tyres not rims, and corridor not wide enough for a 19" manual wheelchair and cleaning trolley to pass in corridor, but i understand that not much that could be done about that( it just would have been nice for staff member to return trolley to alcove for me to get past, rather than try and push past and give me bady bruised knuckles but I don't think staff member realised and all very friendly.

The staff went above and beyond
Pros:

Beautiful view from our room.

Cons:

The staff went above and beyond to make our friend have a great 50th birthday. She didn't have a clue! They gave us an area to decorate and even gave us a bottle of bubbles and card to her.
They even played along with the surprise to start with! Brilliant!

Convenient location for a weekend city break
Pros:

Reception staff very helpful adapting my mobile to the wi-fi.
The cleaner of our room ran out with my partner's coat which she had left behind,

Cons:

The outside window of our room was filthy and urgently needs cleaning.
Porridge at breakfast needs to be served in an even sided bowl otherwise the milk will spill everywhere.
