Very good stay....after the check in process.
Pros:

Very good room, excellent breakfast , the staff at breakfast were very attentive and the location is perfect for north Wales and Cheshire.

Cons:

One member of staff at reception was not helpful and quite rude at check in. Telling us that it was our problem when the two rooms did not show up on the system, and we'd have to "Get in touch with Booking,com" and "Why didn't you book with ME..." wasn't helpful, friendly or in keeping with the excellent service from the staff at breakfast and at other times on the reception.We had driven 150 miles at that point, and that was not the welcome that we have come to expect being an IHG rewards member. Front facing interaction training refresher perhaps......????

Friendly staff but disappointed in our stay
Pros:

The check in staff were very friendly. It was in a good location for a wedding we were attending and there’s a Starbucks and McDonald’s in walking distance.

Cons:

We were quite shocked to find black mold on our ceiling in two patches. We checked in late on Friday after a very long journey and were up early on Saturday for a wedding, we both woke up sneezing on Saturday and wondered why. We then spotted the black mold patches on the ceiling but were due to be picked up by our taxi so didn’t have to time to complain and request a room change. For the price I would expect the rooms to be free of damp and mold. Quite disappointed in our experience to be honest.

Good typical Holiday Inn. Staff excellent. Beware Parking!

It met my expectations of a typical Holiday Inn. I thought the staff were very good

Cons:

The Car Park is owned and run by "Smart Parking" but they should be renamed Dumb Parking or Dodgy Dealers! Despite logging my car reg on arrival at Reception, 2 weeks later I got notice of a £100 parking fine. The same happened to a friend also staying overnight. I contacted Holiday Inn and they very quickly got the parking fine cancelled, but it was a waste of my time and shouldn't have happened in the first place. Review readers be warned!

location good for requirements of visit, reasonable breakfasts, friendly staff and an integral bar at the dining area ...etc

Great party and staff
Pros:

Breakfast was good, had to wait for baked beans, ran out of croissants and fried eggs.

Cons:

The corridor we stayed in smelt of tobacco such a disappointment.

Holiday inn A55
Pros:

Great location, evening meals were excellent., breakfast disappointing, only ever warm, the food was not hot enough and at £15.99 each and paying for 2 a day, anx a 3 day stay, the best part of £100, , however the rest great, I will definitely stay again, just go somewhere else for breakfast .

Cons:

Breakfast was no more than warm, disappointing as I had pre payed for it.

This hotel is located in a services area on A55 . perfect place for stopover enroute for motorists.
Pros:

We arrived as expected close to 2 am and we have been checked in by competent and courteus person . The rooms were comfy and the breakfast beyond expectations

Cons:

We did ask at booking time for rooms close to reception or a lift , as we have limited mobility. This request has been totally unattended . Our rooms were close to each other but at the very end of a corridor. All other rooms were closer to reception.
