Stayed here 2 nights and it was lovely. We had a large comfortable room, everything was very clean. We ate both nights in the bar and the bar service and food was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and very fresh. This is the only hotel I would stay in when I am in Kilkenny.
The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We got a room in the bridge house that was so lovely and big. Everyone tries to make your stay special. Big and super clean bathroom. Very comfortable beds. The restaurant serves very good food until 21:00. The bar also serves food. The breakfast is very good too! Parking is complementary and the castle is just over the road.

Très bien situé, au bord de la rivière avec vue sur le château.
Notre chambre se trouvait dans un pavillon à l’écart de l’hôtel principal. Elle était accessible par un long dédale de corridors et d’escaliers, à moins d’entrer par une porte de service non vitrée, donnant sur l’entrée du stationnement. En ouvrant la porte, il nous était impossible de savoir si une automobile entrait. Le corridor était sombre et déprimant. Le stationnement ne comptait pas suffisamment de places.

The location was great for walking and enjoying Kilkenny, a very walkable town. Breakfast was delightful looking out over the garden. The room was quite comfortable. Food in the pub was quite good.
WiFi was very inconsistent. Hot water wasn't always there either.

Good location - close to city centre
No AC so the the room was hot and the nearby parking lot was noisy
Emplacement centre-ville, excellent accueil, grande et belle chambre très confortable.
Du vrai pain (il n’y a que du pain « carré « ) serait un plus.

We are regular visitors to Rivercourt Hotel and we always happy with our experience, however on this occasion we felt like we were not treated well. The room we were allotted was right on the street and as far away from reception as it could be, all the way back down the corridors at the very end. Having had both my knees replaced in recent years I found it a difficult task to get to and from the room. The room itself was very small and not the cleanest we have had. Very basic and the wardrobe was broken, toilet flush was very poor. To say we were disappointed would be putting it very mildly.

Amazing beautiful place right across from the castle. We spent a few extra bucks and we had a room with the castle view and a Terrace. I feel like it wasn’t much more so that was beautiful and amazing!!
It was our first trip to Kilkenny. We loved it. We hope to return again. We would absolutely be hoping to get a very similar kind of room at the River Court.!! the hotel and it’s related restaurant and facilities is just absolutely beautiful!!!
