We enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

Room was cozy and staff was very friendly. Coffee was great (which we all know we can't typically say about a hotel stay). A bit out of the range for what I like to spend on hotels, but this one was worth the price.

Cons:

I don't enjoy having had to pay for $12 parking when the lot is across the street, nor was this disclosed during booking). It rained during our stay so getting to the car was not enjoyable. We stayed for only one night so not sure if this is a daily fee but I certainly hope not.

Re: High Praise for Loom Hotel Employees Kassie and Taisha
Pros:

Re: High Praise for Loom Hotel Employees Kassie and Taisha

I am writing in connection with my stay at the Loom Hotel (Loom) on July 6-10, 2026 in order to advise of two stellar and exemplary employees: Kassie and Tashia. The respect and service my family and I received from Kassie and Tashia during our stay at the Loom compels me to inform management as well as the general public of the excellent caliber of the hotel staff.  Kassie and Tashia were exceptionally respectful and helpful to my family and I during our stay at the Loom.

Kassie and Tashia were particularly helpful in guiding my family through the city--providing detailed walking directions as well as suggestions and references on dining.  Further, Kassie and Tashia were extremely helpful to me--providing me with pertinent hotel information and recommending certain hotel services so that I could quickly and efficiently tend to business matters and have some time to spend with my family. At all times during my stay, each of them made my family and I feel welcome—providing us with necessities and, at times, complementary apples and beverages.

In light of the efficient services Kassie and Tashia provided to us, and the courteous and professional manner in which they provided those services, I decided the Loom would be my hotel of choice in the Rhode Island area. Indeed, Kassie and Tashia convinced me to stay at the Loom in late July and as recently as yesterday and today—when I witnessed Kassie hard at work training a new staff member upon checking in.

I am glad that I was able to make everyone further aware of Kassie’s and Tashia’s job performance and hope that this review is placed in their employee files for further evaluation in connection with their employee reviews. Further, it appears that the remaining staff at the Loom reflect Kassie’s and Taisha’s hard work, efforts with special attention to all guests.

In view of my very satisfactory experiences, I look forward to staying at the Loom in the future and greeting Kassie, Tashia and the rest of the staff on a more regular basis. I highly recommend the Loom to any travelers in or around the northeast and elsewhere who find themselves in the state of Rhode Island. I am certain those travelers will experience the same standards of service my family and I enjoyed at the Loom

Don’t stay here
Pros:

I had stayed here at the Loom when my sister-in-law passed away 10 years ago and had a great experience. So, when I planned a trip home to visit my brother and bring my husband to see where ai grew up, I thought the Loom would be the best place to stay. I couldn’t be more wrong. The restaurant is overpriced and very disorganized, the fire alarm system malfunctioned on our second night going off 3 time causing evacuation twice and everyone’s sleep to be disrupted (NO apologies from the staff or any gesture of accommodation was made, as if to say, “oh well”), the shower water temperature was so inconsistent I was nearly scalded with every shower, the shower wand would not adjust so we could use it instead of the rainhead, after the room was serviced, the sink stopper would not come out of the sink causing to fill up with water with no way to drain (it took 20 minutes for the engineer to come fix it), and last but not least by any means is the continuous issue with the tv signal being intermittent when first turned on. It would take 10 minutes for it to fully function every time we turned on the tv. This place might be billed as a Hilton Tapestry hotel, but it functions like a Motel 6.

Disgusting experience at this Hilton.
Pros:

As a tourism industry professional with over 13 years of experience, I know what good service looks like.

Unfortunately, my experience at The Loom Hotel (Tapestry by Hilton) was profoundly disappointing. I traveled from California for a wedding hosted here, and I strongly advise potential guests to look elsewhere.

The Service Failures:

Front Desk Professionalism:
The level of incompetence and rudeness is alarming. The morning front desk staff (specifically the receptionist with glasses) was dismissive, refused to make eye contact during check-in, and openly complained about answering phones—completely unprofessional. When we inquired about a room pre-arranged by the bride’s mother, the response was blunt and dismissive without any attempt to assist or verify the reservation.

Hostile Late-Night Staff:
The experience on Saturday night was worse. After a technical issue with my key card, I was met with condescending remarks and aggressive shouting from the night-shift receptionist rather than assistance. Hearing her complain about me & others while I stood in the lobby was beyond unprofessional. This is not the standard of service one expects from a Hilton property.

Hotel Standards:

Housekeeping:
Housekeeping standards are nonexistent. Beds were not made daily, and trash was left in our room. It is baffling that this hotel holds any "best of" status when basic cleanliness is overlooked.

Dining:
The breakfast was inedible, featuring what tasted like low-quality powdered eggs. The only highlight was the kind waitress who spoke Spanish; her professionalism was the only thing that made the meal tolerable.

The hotel’s rates do not reflect the abysmal quality of service and facilities provided. If you value your money and expect professional treatment, stay away from this property.

Worst Hilton Hotel
Pros:

I will not ever stay a second night in this hotel. Room was smelly, Bedsheets were dirty and there was a sliding door to close the bathroom which did not work.
This was the dirtiest room in a Hilton that I have stayed in all my years of travel. I complained to the manager and rather her listening and remediating the issue she tried to justify it.

Don’t eat at the restaurant!
Pros:

Hotel is nice but I would NOT suggest the restaurant inside. The manager is not friendly and the food is not good. I would stay at the hotel but not eat there. Management needs to be replaced and the food needs to be updated.
