gute Lage, guter Ausgangspunkt für Edinburgh, gute Wahl für die Familie

das Holliday ist ein grosses Hotel direkt am Zoo Edinburgh. Wir hatten ein Famlilienzimmer. 4 Schlafplätze auf 2 Betten. Das war gut, aber nicht mega bequem. Wir sind in der Nacht angereist und mit dem Bus war es kein Problem vom Flughafen zum Hotel zu kommen. Die Lage und Verkehrsanbindung des Hotels ist wirklich gut. Mit dem Bus erreicht man die City schnell und problemlos. Wir hatten den Stromadapter vergessen - den konnten wir für 5 Pfund nachkaufen.
Am Abend konnte man auch Essen - das war gut, ging schnell und wurde von vielen genutzt.

in Summe der Leistungen würde ich es wieder nehmen. Aber es ist halt nicht das Hilton oder Balmoral ;-)

Cons:

Das Hotel wirkt im Zimmerbereich schon gelebt. Es ist alles sauber. Am morgen beim Frühstück hat man gemerkt wie gross das Hotel ist. Das Buffet ist gut. Die Brotauswahl ist beschränkt. Es ist eben ein klassisches English breakfast. Kaffee gibt es aus dem Automaten.

wir hatten das Zimmer 104 - das ist direkt über dem Eingang des Hotels, was mit der entsprechenden Lautstärke verbunden war. Hier würde ich beim nächsten Mal fragen, dass ich eher etwas ab davon bin.

Not clean, felt dusty. Staff lovely though.
Pros:

Cleanliness left much to be desired, hairs in several places in the bathroom on arrival and the room felt dated and dusty. The mattress seemed to lean to one side.

Cons:

Swimming areas were not kept clean, appreciate it was busy but it felt like a public swimming pool not a hotel

Fair value for money.
Pros:

I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Corstorphine. The room was absolutely fine. I saw comments that things were dated in the rooms. Some of the furniture was not new but was perfectly serviceable and the decor was modern.
Only criticism would be that the fish and chips in the restaurant was disappointing. The drinks in the bar were reasonably priced.

Sniadania-monotonne:jajka,fasolka,bekon,parowki,tost,dwa rodzaje sokow (pomaranczowy i jablkowy),kawa-smak (tak jak kawy z automatow).Dania zimne:takze te same kazdy dzien:salami(dobre),szynka,zolty ser.

Cons:

The access to the hotel was not pedestrian friendly, with a buggy you had to walk through the car park without any dedicated walkways.

The safe in our room also didn't work.
