My worst hotel experience in 30 years of travel to many small and under developed countries.
Pros:

The only positive was the staff (the cleaning crew) were hard working and nice.

Cons:

All doors were locked, the hotel was dark and nobody was working to check us in upon our arrival. Do not arrive Monday-Wednesday as the hotel is only open for one hour to check in. Our taxi driver had to find a neighborhood security guard who made some calls to get us in. No drinking water is available on the property even for purchase. No stores nearby. All ice machines on the property are broken and actually pulled apart. There is a kitchenette with no utensils and a coffee machine with no coffee. We were required to pay 100% in advance but once they had our money there was no service whatsoever.

Do NOT let Priceline or other websites trick you. The pictures you see are of another resort next door that shares the pool, beach and water taxi with Flamingo Bay Hotel & Marina at Taino Beach. Flamingo Bay Hotel is equivalent to an old Motel 6 with very poor customer service, no working ice machines, Wi-Fi is only available in the front office. Peeling paint and weak window units for AC.

The worth place to stay
Pros:

I have stayed in a hotel like this in my entire adult life.This place was a dump, out dated ice machine that didn’t work rusted A/C vent on the outside of the room windows, no Wi-Fi in the room peeled painting on the outside floor and stairway. Only one place to dine on the beach and it closes at 5:00 P.M. everyday. I stayed for two nights and then left for a better place

Pros:

Hotel need a lot of work. The bathroom was not up to par toilet was flushing for a good 2 to 3 mins. I thought it was going to over flow. I ended up leaving and booked at a different location. I will never go here again.

Pros:

The shower was in very poor state with its faucet. The shelves were about to fall, and the door knob didnt seem to work correctly. The pillows were terrible also. But it was clean and bug free, with a good working air conditioner.

While on booked with you guy I didn’t know that only four was allowed to stay in a double bed room so I was told that I needed to rent a additional room on my aspens 😡and it was two adult and three kids that was on my stay

Pros:

We love staying at Flamingo Bay. The people are friendly and the Units are clean. It is definitely a "no frills" experience but you have access to the lazy river, "grotto Bar" and a nice restaurant on the beach. We will visit again.

Nothing was unique about this place. The place is poorly kept. From microwave to toaster rusty and filthy. Ice machines never worked. Had to climb three flights of stairs with luggage.

From we arrived the front desk host was pleasant and was very knowledgeable about the island. The pool was amazing and the bartender at the swim up bar (Alfy) was awesome. He made us feel right at home. This place exceeded all my expectations I will be back.

Stay away😩, BAD Experiences. Nothing there is worth spending money and time.
Pros:

Awful place, poorly managed , not friendly staff, dirty, unsanitary .
We came for 3 nights/4 days , and immediately realised it’s not gonna be fun vacation. From the nasty bed and furniture , fallen apart unsanitary bathroom, pot smoking in the rooms, overpriced mediocre food and drinks, murky pool water, broken chaise lounges on the shore full of seaweeds.
It was a first and definitely will be last time we went to Bahamas. Looks like the hotel owner, the staff and the people don’t really care about their visitors.
Stay away! This is my best advice
