This was the worst experience I’ve had in Mexico in all the years that I’ve been coming, my family and I got 2 separate rooms for 2 separate prices and the one we got was horrible and the duvets smelled like musty and sweaty, the concierge was not helpful at all
Location is nice and the amenities are very nice, large gardens, access to the beach, bars and restaurants. However the customer service is terrible! I will not be
coming back. Their staff is rude and poorly trained. I was told that I could send a letter showing my parents dog is a service dog while on the way to add an extra room for them. Then, when I arrived they stated the letter was not good enough and had to argue to get them to accept our dog that is trained and small and pay extra fees.
The rooms where we stayed are in poor condition, walls chipping, old bathrooms, tv didn’t work, elevator didn’t work, AC units don’t cool the rooms. Then we had tickets for their Mother’s Day event, and same rude staff, sounds was horrendous, so loud, we had to leave. Food was also subpar.
check in process was great and the staff who shows you to your room is very friendly, loved the view from my room. the problems started at night when these groups of college kids were acting out playing loud music until like 4AM, yelling up and down the halls slamming doors. we first requested to change rooms and were told we would have to pay the difference, the next night we had to call lobby to send security and nothing was done, all lobby attendant said was security had already gone upstairs 4 times to try and calm the group down. bottom line was my husband and myself did not get any sleep this weekend.
We had a wonderful 4 night stay. We were in the Playas Tours and had a beautiful view of the beach, ocean and pier. Service when needed, was quick and the entire staff was very polite and friendly. Our room was clean. It had a small fridge for our cervesas. And the shower was hot. We will be back!
Rosarito Beach Hotel is a great deal for a hotel with amazing views of the Pacific and is just steps from the beach. It was an easy drive from San Diego and so close. Upon arrival, we were given a bellhop to help with our luggage. Our room was on the 7th floor and was small for our family of four. We were glad that we brought our cooler and coffee maker because there is hardly anything in the room. The balcony is tiny but the views made up for it. The elevators worked well. Parking was very easy and safe. We had to get ice from the bar for $2 a bag. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance and we always felt safe, even at night. For the drive home, they advertise that you can get a Ready Pass to cross the border but the front desk said it cost $35. We opted to take our chances and the line to return to the US was the same with the pass and without. It took many hours to return to the US but our time in Mexico at the Rosarito Beach Hotel was wonderful.
Great location on the beach. Beautiful views of the ocean. The room was terrible. A mini kitchen was available, however they only supplied 2 old butter knives and 1 tables spoon. They supplied no dish soap, paper towels, or dish towels. The accommodations were ancient. The bedding was old and dingy. The sheets were no longer white. They were yellow. Our room was right by the elevator where people congregated and were loud. The wind howled through the breezeway and shook the window all night. It was not a pleasant experience overall.
This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The staff are extremely helpful and kind. Definitely recommend. Lots of shopping around and food within walking distance.
Love it. Security is amazing. Wish it was a bit quieter the walls are a bit thin but overall loved the vibe and environment
Clean room, but beds were too hard
Love it ,old hotel but well take care I'll be back.
there is nothing good about the room to tell. the matres was old and flimsy, the sheets were so old and has stains on them. all the furniture inside the room were old and smelly.
i can't believe i paid $200 for this room in mexico!!!
motel 6 probably has better stuff than here.
The inside of the room was old, the toilet was not working
The only thing good about it was the outside
Me gusta porque esta cerca de todo, pero necesita mucha remodelación en los cuartos del hotel playas tower esta muy caido 😬 pero todo lo demas esta muy bien
Clean room excellent view and very secure
The hotel is older, but you can’t beat the price for a room with an ocean front view. Even though the hotel is older, everything was still clean and my girl and I had a wonderful day.
Great experience will come back!
Rooms were clean and very nice. A big issue here is that only two elevators work with one broken down. The elevator for parking lot is also broken down. We did not get any water bottles neither. The pools were nice but we had no waiter help us on the pacific tower side. We actually had to move to the other pool in order to get served. Place is nice but little details can be improved.
Great place !
This trip was for my Mom,she was so stressed out, because of my brothers health that she needed to take some time off,she was so happy thanks💞
Rooms have a smell when you walk inside the rooms, The bed were well done, but the beds are very uncomfortable and they are so hard! not worth $185 dollars per night.
We’ll try the tower building maybe the beds are better there.
