Oh dear.
Pros:

It was a bit of a red flag when the hotel mailed us two days before we arrived asking that we rate them 10 stars on booking.com. It appeared equally desperate to see the sign below in the lift.

If they genuinely want a great rating, someone should have a word with the incredibly brusque and rude receptionist who let us in (eventually). She’s knock several points off for a starter.

Then there’s the room.

Size wise, it’s ok.

The shower is genuinely awful. Literally just a dribble of a thing. Came out of it not feeling clean much at all.

I shaved in the sink, and an hour later still had a sink full of hairy, messy water.

Our stay at Aparthotel Adagio Strasbourg Place Kléber was unfortunately disappointing and did not live up to the 4-star standard that is advertised.

Upon arrival, we were given a room that was missing amenities that were clearly advertised, most notably a television. After reporting the issue, we were offered a second room, but it was not equivalent to the one we had originally booked. Due to the hotel's lack of availability, we had little choice but to accept the downgrade.

I do want to highlight that the receptionist who welcomed us was genuinely kind, polite, and did his best to help. However, it was obvious that he was overwhelmed and dealing with multiple guest complaints at the same time. The situation seemed more like a management and operational issue than an individual employee's fault.

Overall, the experience fell well below what we expected from a hotel that markets itself as a 4-star property. Better maintenance, quality control, and staffing would go a long way toward improving the guest experience.

Idéalement situé, à 2 pas de la place Kléber. Studio spacieux. Bureau pour travailler. Lit confortable. Jolie cour intérieure. Beau bâtiment.

Pros:

I spent 3 very pleasant days at this hotel, and I genuinely have nothing to complain about.
There were no issues or inconveniences that bothered me.
It is a wonderful small hotel, very helpful and lovely staff and most importantly: the hotel is very quiet, despite it's located right in the heart of Strasbourg.
Everything about my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, I would gladly stay here again.
I am very grateful to all the staff of this hotel, and especially to the supervisor David.

The location was good. The size of the apartment we had was great. We enjoyed the courtyard.

The room was clean....but not really. On a superficial level, the bathrooms were clean but after spending some time, it was evident this place needs a good deep clean. I got pretty congested I think due to all the dust. There was dust in the halls on the walls. In the rooms the baseboards were dusty, the bathroom shelves and the giant red curtains also had a layer of dust. Worse, the curtains were stained, one stain by my bed I am guess was someone wiping their nose rather than grabbing a tissue. Or worse. It was gross. The couch in the room was also this way.
