We had an absolutely amazing stay at the InterContinental Muscat, and it was all thanks to the incredible welcome and hospitality we received from the very beginning. A special, heartfelt thank you to the Duty Manager, Hussam Ahmed Al Nabhani, who truly went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. He was incredibly welcoming and generously offered us an upgrade to a gorgeous sea view suite, which completely made our trip. The level of service and care here is unmatched. We are already looking forward to our next visit and highly recommend this wonderful property to anyone traveling to Muscat!

My place to stay in Oman

Exceptional Hospitality and Outstanding Service
Pros:

This is by far my favorite hotel for business trips to Muscat. The rooms are excellent, and I particularly enjoy the stunning sea views.

The reception team is always professional and incredibly helpful, especially Ahmed Al Balushi. During my recent stay, I encountered some booking issues, and he was very patient, understanding, and supportive until everything was resolved.

The breakfast offers a great variety of options and is consistently of high quality. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the hospitality of the staff, who go above and beyond to make every stay enjoyable and memorable.

On my last visit, I stayed for an extended period, and the team surprised me with a thoughtful gesture that genuinely made my day. A special thank you to Faisal, Wiam, and Michelle for their kindness and exceptional service.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Muscat, whether for business or leisure.

Hotel recommended in Muscat
Pros:

I visited Oman for business approximately 14 times since May 2025. I used several hotels in Muscat until I came across Intercontinental . The first time I stayed was in May 2026, and I noticed a difference from all the other hotels I used. Intercontinental has a great location and atmosphere. The hotel is located on the beach ; the rooms have a great view and are clean and well-renovated. The staff welcomes you with a great smile on their faces, and they are helpful and respectful . The hotel is close to a strip plaza that has a great selection of restaurants.

Great hotel with nice rooms & Pools + Beach
Pros:

Great hotel with nice rooms and pools. The hotel is next to the beach. Delicious breakfast is served at the Musandam restaurant by a very kind staff including Mahir, Jovin, Ghana and Mariam. The Tomato Restaurant next to the pools has great Italian dishes and the staff there is very friendly. John Edward and his team made our lunches memorable.

Pros:

La piscine, les serviettes et l’eau et la citronnade disponible à la piscine sont agréable.
L’hôtel est un peu grand et les chambres ne sont pas si grande que sa pour le prix et la réputation de l’hôtel

Cons:

La signalétique ainsi que le parking nous avons eu l’impression que les plus privilégiés et chanceux de trouver une place devant pouvait se garer proche de l’entrée de l’hôtel mais le reste c’était sur un parking miteux avec des marquages au sol quasiment effacé et au soleil c’est dommage

Amazing hotel with great staff.
Pros:

The staying in the hotel it self with sea view is a very nice experience, hotel facilities are very good, had meals in Musandam restaurant which is very quiet and offers great food with excellent team especially Faisal, Hameed , Yang and the other guys all have made our stay wonderful , highly recommend.
