Hôtel sympathique à première vue, mais faites très attention : la piscine n'est pas à la hauteur.

J'ai séjourné récemment dans cet hôtel et j'ai contracté une infection à l'œil après avoir utilisé la piscine. J'ai même dû me rendre à l'hôpital pour être soigné. J'ai signalé la situation à l'établissement afin qu'il prenne les mesures nécessaires pour éviter que cela n'arrive à d'autres clients. Malheureusement, leur seule réponse a été de nier toute responsabilité en affirmant que cela ne venait pas de leur piscine.

Je suis très déçu par leur manque de considération et de professionnalisme. À fuir.
Je n'ai pas apprécié l'état de la piscine ni la façon dont l'établissement a géré mon signalement. Après avoir utilisé la piscine, j'ai développé une infection à l'œil qui a nécessité une prise en charge à l'hôpital. Lorsque j'ai informé l'hôtel afin qu'il vérifie les installations et prenne des mesures de prévention, ma remarque a été écartée sans réelle considération.

Saubere Zimmer, gute Ausstattung und sehr gutes Essen, aber leider starke Mängel bei Instandhaltung,
Pros:

Das Hotel war grundsätzlich sauber, und auch das Zimmer selbst machte einen gepflegten Eindruck. Die Ausstattung der Suite war sehr gut, besonders die Whirlpool-Badewanne war ein echtes Highlight. Auch das Konzept, den Spa-Bereich kostenlos reservieren und dann exklusiv alleine nutzen zu können, ist grundsätzlich sehr angenehm.

Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr gut. Wir haben mehrmals den Room-Service genutzt und waren mit der Qualität der Speisen zufrieden.

Cons:

Leider fehlt es dem Hotel aus meiner Sicht deutlich an Instandhaltung. Viele Bereiche entsprechen nicht mehr dem Standard, den man bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie erwarten darf. Abluftanlagen, Türen, Böden, Vorhänge, Teile des Spa-Bereichs und mehrere Details im gesamten Gebäude wirkten veraltet, abgenutzt oder schlecht gewartet.

Besonders enttäuschend war der Spa-Bereich. Von mehreren Whirlpool-Bereichen funktionierte effektiv nur eine Whirlliege, und diese war so stark eingestellt, dass das Wasser direkt ins Gesicht spritzte und Entspannung kaum möglich war. Außerdem waren immer wieder Ameisen und andere Insekten sichtbar, besonders im Spa-Bereich. Im Poolbereich lagen zahlreiche tote Insekten im Wasser, neben dem Pool waren Ameisen zu sehen, und die Steinwände hatten große schwarze Flecken von der Decke bis zum Boden, die optisch zumindest stark an Schimmel erinnerten.

Auch die Preisgestaltung empfanden wir als deutlich überzogen. Die Speisen waren qualitativ sehr gut, aber die Portionen eher klein. Besonders die Getränkepreise waren aus unserer Sicht nicht angemessen: 5 Euro für 0,2 Liter Cola und 5,50 Euro für 500 ml Mineralwasser wirken für uns wie Abzocke. Gerade Getränke sind ein grundlegender Bestandteil eines Hotelaufenthalts und sollten deutlich fairer kalkuliert werden.

Insgesamt hat das ABaC Hotel Barcelona viel Potenzial, entspricht in seinem aktuellen Zustand aber nicht dem Standard, den man bei dieser Preisklasse und Hotelkategorie erwarten darf.

Comfortable, quiet hotel
Pros:

Lovely staff, very comfortable, location close to Metro into Pl Catalunya. Hotel is really quiet.

Cons:

On reflection, would have preferred a location nearer the sea.
