Most everything. Staff was helpful with local attracions, callin g cabs etc. Breakfast was good.
Booked on basis of a balcony. There was one, but no furniture and none available. Useless.
Bedside light not working in bedroom, and no ceiling light. Brought to front desk attewntion, never fixed.
Full kitchen, but no dishes or cutlery.
Location
Breakfast finished by scheduled time , not refilling items

O
The main reason this hotel is getting 2 stars instead of 1 is the location, which really was excellent. It was convenient, central, and made getting around Montreal easy. Unfortunately, almost everything else about the stay was disappointing.
The hotel itself felt dated. The hallways were dim, which is not necessarily a problem on its own, but the overall atmosphere felt tired. The room was also not what we expected from the photos or description. We booked what appeared to be a room with a separate bedroom, but when we arrived, the “bedroom” had the pull-out couch in it along with the AC unit, while the main room had the two beds. That layout made very little sense. There were knobs, wall controls, thermostats, and a vent dial that appeared to do nothing, so keeping the room comfortable was frustrating.
There were also some strange room details, including the bathroom door lock being on the outside of the door, which was not exactly ideal for privacy.
Cleanliness was mediocre. At first glance it was passable, but once you looked closer, there was hair in corners and many surfaces looked like they needed a proper deep clean. We also had a spider stop by to say hello/goodbye on our last day, which, while not a big deal, felt like a fitting end to the stay.
The parking situation was also frustrating. I had booked the stay-and-park promotion and applied my CAA card to get the same rate with the ability to cancel. When I arrived, I was told that using the CAA rate meant I had forfeited the parking promotion and would need to pay an extra $36 per night. Thankfully, they still had parking available, but this felt like a bait-and-switch.
Service was another major issue. The pre-arrival email told us to enter the garage and go to the main floor, but it did not explain clearly how the garage worked. When I called for help, I was told to park on the road, even though the email specifically said not to do that, and there was no street parking available anyway. We also called several times for things that staff said they would bring to the room, but they never arrived.
Amenities were poor. Our room was for six people, but we were only given three towels. When we asked for more, we were eventually given three small hand towels and told they should work for our three young children. After asking multiple times, we were told laundry was late and they did not have more towels available. We also asked for extra pillows and were basically told no.
Noise level was fine, and again, the location was great. But overall, the room, service, cleanliness, parking issue, and lack of basic amenities made this a very disappointing stay. Next time, I would rather stay farther from downtown, drive in, and pay for parking separately.
If it had just been me and my wife, we probably could have made do. But for a family, this hotel was really not ideal. The room setup, lack of basic supplies, and poor service made it feel like the hotel was not prepared to accommodate the number of guests it had booked.
Fantastic location , but our room 622 was very run down and antiquated!! Not sure how many times Management or owners look at rooms but the Bathroom itself needs to be renovated and or cleaned as it looked grimy( Caulking has mold and floor tiles Cracked with dirty grout ) !! Bed was comfortable but room itself just seemed dark and gloomy !! Breakfast is half decent !! Location makes up for the negatives!!
Parfait

The location of the hotel is exceptional. The stuff is very nice and friendly. The breakfast was good.
The suite comes with a kitchen. One of the best hotel complementary breakfast
Not newest carpet, but it's okay
L’emplacement , chambre spacieuse , personnels
Petit déjeuné moyen, et la salle trop petite par rapport à la capacité de l’hôtel d’où trop de bruits .
This used to be my favorite place to stay in Montreal. Not anymore ! I doubt if I will go back here !
The property is not maintained! Rooms have humid & damp smell from carpets. Bathroom & corners have black mold visible ! They used to have proper cutlery in kitchen! Now you have to ask for it in that too is provided in limited numbers plus its no longer ceramic.. its paper based disposables! Lots have changed & detoriated! Everything is either cheap or not maintained! Very disappointing & truly repenting to have booked my stay here! Next door hotel Saint Laurent atleast is still maintained & quality stuff to satisfactory or higher levels. Here its all ruined ! Attitude of night staff is another level! Half the staff has excuse to say "I am new here so not sure"... So customers can suffer since the new staff was not adequately trained !!! 🙄
Propre, petit déjeuner
