Pros:

Excellent stay at ST Giles. Great location with convenient parking and nearby shopping. Comfortable room with a lovely city view, good breakfast, and very reasonable rates. Special thanks to Mr. Aamin for the kind upgrade from Urban Inn to a suite @ truly appreciated. Friendly and attentive staff throughout the stay.

Cons:

No major issues during my stay. Everything was comfortable and pleasant.

I would rate a good 8 if the housekeeping was up to speed.
Pros:

The hotel rates are very affordable and being at one of the biggest & well equipped mall makes it super convenient.

Cons:

For this stay, housekeeping wasn’t too detailed in their duties - didn’t vacuum the floor well & forgotten to give me clean towels.

Overall hotel staff was great but the rooms was not. Great location for food and shopping.

Cons:

No free car park for hotel guest. Shower no door, when shower, water splash out and it is cold. Only liquid shower gel. No soap option available when checked with housekeeping. Aircon thermostat not working. Fixed at 19.5 deg even after adjusting to desired temperature. No drawer/compartment in the basin area. Not enough space for personal things. Bed sheet has black spot. Towels are old.

The St Giles names is confusing to people making booking who are not familiar with the place. We wanted to book the 5 star hotel and it turn out to be 4 star St Giles Boulevard which is not great.

Pros:

Room size is okay. The room has a safe (good size can put laptop), bathrobe, and disposable slippers. There is also a bedside USB port which is very useful for charging phones and devices. There is a communal filtered water dispenser at each floor’s lift lobby where you can refill the glass bottles provided in the room.

The hotel is connected directly to MidValley Mall. The access is right next to the lift lobby at the North Entrance. The first escalator you see after you enter the mall leads you down to lower ground of MidValley Mall where AEON supermarket and AEON Wellness pharmacy are located. Very convenient to shop for necessities. There are many breakfast places in the mall, so I did not try the hotel breakfast on 9th floor (about RM35++).

Getting to and from the airport was easy. I took a coupon taxi from KLIA to the hotel for RM87.40 (including tolls) on Friday evening. For the return trip on Sunday afternoon, I used Grab and it cost RM82 plus toll. Warning: Very jam to get to MidValley on Friday evening. I board the taxi around 615 pm and only reached the hotel at near 8 pm.

Cons:

The shower water temperature needs fixing. Even without changing the knob, the water goes from hot to cold and back to hot by itself within a minute. I needed more time to shower because of this.

Pros:

Location is near LRT and KTM and big mall. Very convenient.
Room is quite big and bed is comfort. It is good to have bathtubs in the bathroom.
Breakfast has plenty of foods.
Equipment in gym is plenty kinds.

Cons:

In the room, desk has ants.
some equipments in gym is broken and failed, not maintained.
