Pros:

Great location. Very clean. Staff were extremely competent and helpful. Comfortable beds. Loved the toiletry products they provide. Gym is small but has great equipment.

Cons:

A bit pricey but I was visiting on a holiday weekend. The reading lights next to bed have switches behind headboard that make in nearly impossible to turn on, leaving the only other option of turning on all the overhead lights. Would have loved to have access to the reading lights. Also, I booked through Booking App with my family member’s credit card as it was a gift, but had to give my own card to cover the expense on site and they couldn’t use the one I used on the app. Disappointing but that is their policy.

Pros:

Fantastic experience! Perfect location.We stayed here for a 3-day trip with friends and couldn't have picked a better place. The absolute best part is the location—you are basically in the heart of Chicago, which made exploring the city so easy. The staff were awesome and always ready to help. The rooms were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable after a long day of walking. We will definitely come back!

Very nice boutique like hotel in a quiet neighborhood.
Pros:

Location was great. Staff helped us with directions, nice coffee and fruit in lobby for a petit breakfast, other options were available. Bed was extremely comfortable.

Cons:

No cups in room, but there was an ice bucket, cups would have been nice. Rooms were a little tight for room, but doable.

A good place to stay if you want to explore the city.

The location is very good. The staff was kind and solved all our questions. There is some coffee and fruits to have int he morning.

Cons:

The wifi was very poor in our room. You have to ask for the bedroom to be cleaned every morning. They charge a 5$ fee to keep the luggage.

On the positive side, the hotel itself is very attractive, and the staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. The first-floor amenities and lounge area were nice, and there always seemed to be guests comfortably waiting for transportation. There was also a coffee station and a breakfast service with pre-made items such as croissants, sandwiches, and pastries. The hotel also offers valet parking, although the cost was $74 per night.

Overall, Hotel Felix is a nice-looking hotel in a good location, and the staff and cleanliness were definite positives. However, the small and inefficiently designed room, the bathroom door, and especially the loud air-conditioning system made the stay less comfortable than expected.

Cons:

We stayed at Hotel Felix in Chicago from September 4th through September 8th. Overall, the hotel is a beautiful property with friendly and accommodating staff, but there are several things about the room and accommodations that could be improved.

We arrived in Chicago around 5:00 a.m. Unfortunately, early check-in was not available, so we had to wait until after 3:00 p.m. for our room. While this was understandable given the hotel's check-in policy, it was something to keep in mind when arriving on an early flight.

The room was clean, and the bed itself was comfortable. However, the room felt extremely small for a queen-size bed. The bed takes up most of the available space, leaving less than two feet of walking space around portions of it. There was also furniture in the room that seemed unnecessarily large for the available space. For example, the table underneath the TV was quite wide and long, while the chair, despite having wheels, could not really be moved because there was nowhere practical to put it. This made the room feel even more cramped.

The bathroom door was another issue. It is extremely large and swings in a way that makes using the bathroom inconvenient when someone else is in the room. If someone is using the sink, putting on makeup, or using the toilet, the other person has to move out of the way just to open the bathroom door and access the shower.

The biggest problem for us, however, was the air conditioning. We were visiting from Puerto Rico and Chicago was experiencing a heat wave during our stay, so having a comfortable and cool room was very important. The lowest temperature setting was 68°F, which was fine, but the central AC unit would repeatedly shut off and then restart during the night. When it restarted, it was extremely loud—almost like a truck starting up. The initial noise was loud enough to wake my wife, which then woke me up as well. This happened repeatedly throughout the night and significantly affected our sleep.

Awesome location ! Had a great stay, loved the gym! Perfect hotel, if only there was a laundry room available.

Cons:

No laundry facility. And extra taxes, although Booking.com showed that all taxes were included. I got about $500 more.
