Exceptional.
Pros:

Amazing hotel fantastic food the friendliness of the staff was unreal couldn't do enough for us. A very clean hotel in a beautiful setting and kept to a very high standard inside and out.

Pros:

We had our wedding here on 31.07.26. We genuinely can’t praise The Hodson Bay enough. Everything was top class from start to finish. The food was delicious, our guests are still raving about it. The dinner service ran seamlessly by Michael.
Elaine the wedding coordinator is absolutely fantastic at her job, we didn’t have to worry about a thing, she had it all under control from the moment we met her. She was always so efficient in responding and put us at ease throughout the whole planning process.
Johnny the general manager is an absolute gentleman, he could not have done any more for us over the whole weekend. He runs a tight ship.
We also had day two at the hotel and the bbq was just delicious. Highly highly recommend 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

peaceful lovely nature and lake surrounded
Pros:

Very spacious room with the lake view. Beautiful surroundings opposite the bay and lake, nice garden and restaurants, tasty food. Breakfast with the view. We really enjoyed!

Lovely location & staff but facilities & dining area not 4 star quality
Pros:

Location excellent & beautiful. Staff very friendly & efficient

Cons:

Bar area very limited, with poor seating lay out and unsuitable for the size of the hotel & guests
Food very disappointing, breakfast not 4 star hotel quality. Brown bread a disgrace. No butter available and cooked food sitting for long period & not fresh

Lovely family break
Pros:

Enjoyed a lovely stay here. Lovely food, atmosphere and most of all service. A special mention to one of the waitress’s Misura in the bar last night who was very kind and went that extra mile. And to Melvin for an amazing facial and spa experience

Not quite what we had hoped for when we booked

Cons:

Nightmare to park. Nowhere near enough parking spaces even without weddings happening. One night there were literally no spaces left even without weddings happening everyone parking on yellow lines and on every bit of grass. Also the advertised walk to Yew Point was blocked off due to the hotel building more accommodation there, very disappointing.

Great value hotel with excellent food
Pros:

Huge family hotel at side of lake. Nice big pool and spa on site. Very comfortable room. We had dinner in the restaurant and were really impressed with the food and the service. Amazing value too.
