The good - breakfast selection, the bar and cocktails and bar staff.
The bad- the air con is poor, the rooms were not cool enough and took a long time to get slightly cool. There were 2 toasters at breakfast and half of both them were broken (just fix or replace them, you could have a new toaster delivered next day?!). The hotel is noisy, I had a room next to the elevators and there was a clunking noise frequently.
The hotel was 'fine' overall but I wouldn't stay here again.
The hotel is lovely and clean, rooms are really nice and modern, air con in the rooms was great. The pool is fantastic - but would recommend going at either 10am when it opens or over lunch time as it was very busy otherwise. Have seen some reviews about the location but we found taxis and public transport fine (bus and tram) and there are plenty shops and some nice restaurants in the area. It’s obviously not as convenient as staying central but we felt the price each night reflected that and it was worth it for the pool in July. The 12 euro each way taxi service run by the hotel is really useful and much cheaper than it would be otherwise.
Easy enough to get the tram or walk into Trastevere which is lovely at night.
The prices at the pool bar are extortionate for what you are getting especially the food. Staff wouldn’t fill up our water bottles at the bar which was odd.
If you are on your own I probably wouldn’t recommend walking to the tram stop as you need to walk through a tunnel, just something to keep in mind.
Overall a really pleasant stay.
Limpieza,personal,desayuno,espacio habitación,piscina, gimnasio...todo!!!
La ubicación.
Un poco lejos de todo.
Staff friendly. Generally clean. The water in the pool looked a bit cloudy during our two night stay.
No facilities to fill water bottles.
Staff were really helpful and friendly. Pool was lovely to escape to from the heat. Breakfast was fab- plenty to choose from and lovely and fresh.
A bit shabby in places needed a bit of tlc, towel rail hanging off the wall in the bathroom. Shower screen leaked all over the floor and chips and scuff marks on the walls.
Could do with some proper sunbeds on the terrace as the deckchairs were really uncomfortable and not enough for all the visitors who wanted to use the facilities at the same time to escape the heat. Bar prices really expensive and pool bar wasn't open all the time, and you weren't supposed to take your own drinks by the pool. But €4 euros for a coke when you can get them for 0.80 at the shop was a bit excessive . And like I said wasn't always open.
A bit out of the way from the city so be prepared to walk and travel lots, but that was fine for us we knew to expect that and the cost of the stay reflected this .
Staff extremely efficient and friendly, rooms spacious and clean !The roof terrace pool was definitely a bonus after exploring Rome in the hot temperatures!
Bit further away from the historic part of the city for walking , however the taxi from the hotel was excellent
Chambre très propre et personnel très sympathique à l’écoute
