Unpleasant. Very hot.
Pros:

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Our room was on the second floor and was supplied with a small fan. The room was excruciatingly hot but we could not open the windows owing to the traffic noise. There was no hot water but we did not discover this in time to advise reception as we left the hotel at 5.30am. The small toilet was inconveniently separate from the sink and shower and all were very old fashioned. The room seemed clean but the old carpet on the floor did not enhance a feeling of cleanliness. Tea and coffee making items supplied but no milk. The car park entry was quite difficult to find and we had to go to the hotel first in order to find out that the parking was on the second level of the station multi-storey car park. It is almost impossible to pull up outside the hotel to make this inquiry. Although the hotel is quite close to the town centre you have to go up in the car park lift and across a bridge to access it - not a pleasant walk and not fun in the dark.
