Breakfast let an otherwise fantastic experience down
Pros:

The location was very good for our needs as we attended an event at the Asembly Hall

Cons:

The breakfast was not overly hot when delivered to our table. I asked for poached eggs and they were more like hard boiled eggs as they had been overcooked

Clean hotel in a convenient location though older style and the facilities are a bit dated.
Pros:

The hotel is clean and conveniently located near the main street and many shops, and both breakfast and dinner are good.

Cons:

The hotel has an older style, which is reflected in the décor, and some of the facilities feel a bit dated. In the bathroom, the shower water pressure is on the low side, and the toilet flush is gentle, requiring a short wait before it can be used again. The elevator is small and slightly awkward to use.

Amazing wedding venue
Pros:

We had our wedding reception here in April and it was just perfect. We cannot fault the staff who were so attentive and knowledgeable about everything and made our day unforgettable. The food was amazing and the whole day ran so smoothly thanks to Sophia and Tiffany who were there to help us plan for the months leading up to the wedding. The rooms were also amazing and we were able to have breakfast the next morning with our family and friends. I cannot recommend this venue enough! We’ll be coming back as much as we can for food and drinks!

Comfortable hotel in an excellent location
Pros:

Breakfast was very good
Good selection
Very prompt service
Room was spacious & quiet
Bathroom was huge!

Cons:

Booking.com advised parking on site was limited but I’m fairly sure it didn’t state £15 per night.
We used the multi storey round the corner which was fine & a bargain at £8!

Nice hotel with friendly staff, but rooms lacked adequate curtaining and some staff were inexperienced.
Pros:

It has bags of character and the staff were very friendly and enthusiastic

Cons:

The room was facing the front of the property which had bright lights pointing directly into the room all night. The curtains were on a pole and let a huge amount of light in making sleeping difficult. The cocktails in the bar were poor. My cosmopolitan was made with a dried orange slice and served in the wrong glass. A classic cosmopolitan should use a curl of fresh orange zest in a martini glass. It was also spilled when brought to me and I had to ask for the stem and base to be wiped to avoid dripping on my clothing.

Wow wow wow
Pros:

What an amazing hotel , perfect in every way. The food is amazing , the rooms and public areas are cool and relaxing, and most of all the people who work there do everything they can to make your stay amazing. A special shout out to Patricia , her energy and enthusiasm shone throughout our stay with great service and smiles too! The rooms are spacious and well appointed and the bathroom and especially the rain forest shower was superb and topped off with Occitaine products.
Would thoroughly recommend this hotel , Tunbridge Wells is a great town too , the hotel is well situated close to all of the shops and attractions , we will be back.
