Had a long weekend planned but due to a family emergency I had to come back home

I was disappointed with my assigned suite.
Pros:

Location is good...not far from the interstate highway.

Cons:

1.Furniture and mattress needs upgrading, at least in our King Suite.
2. Bed pillows too soft to get any restorative sleep/rest.
3. Toe nail or finger nail clippings needs to be removed.
4.Urine residue around the base of our toilet needs to be removed.
5. Strings of hair need to be removed from the base of the tub/shower.

Great staff
Pros:

The staff was friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay.

The main issues I encountered were with the room itself. The air conditioning unit was noticeably loud and had a stale odor when running. Additionally, the toilet continued to run after every flush, requiring me to remove the tank lid and manually adjust the float to stop the water flow.

Breakfast options were also quite limited by 8:00 AM, which was a little disappointing.

Overall, the staff made a positive impression, but the maintenance issues and breakfast availability impacted the experience. As a side note, a continuously running toilet doesn’t align particularly well with IHG’s Journey to Tomorrow sustainability initiatives and may be worth addressing.

Great room and awesome breakfast!
Pros:

The room was great. Very comfortable chaise lounge in the room. Plenty of storage space for our luggage. Loved the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers. The breakfast was wonderful.

Comfy beds & horrible smell
Pros:

I like how comfortable the beds were and how accommodating the staff was at the end.

Cons:

I did not like the strong smell of moisture and mold in my original room.
