A nice Hotel with serious defects in Service.
Pros:

The location close to the Harbor and the Esplanade
Fabulous

Cons:

The Hotel has a second Edifice where breakfast will be served.
You need to walk through the Courtyard first, and up rickety stairs. Plus long hallways.
The second item is: there is not
Lunch or Dinner. In the Hotel.
This courtyard restaurant is overpriced and unfriendly.
I will not return. Rather eat out.
A five star Hotel needs to deliver at least three meals.
The nice Bar does not offer any snacks, only drinks. This is a serious issue.

Convenient Choice in Helsinki
Pros:

THe hotel is in an excellent location, close to both the Esplanade, harbor, and central market. Staff was very professional and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet for sleeping. We are Americans and by now my wife and I are used to the smaller hotel rooms in Europe. We have had smaller ones than this, even in New York City for that matter. It was actually very nice. There is somewhat of an odd route to breakfast. But it is worth the walk. It is located in a part of the hotel that is actually an historic mansion facing the harbor. There was a good variety of food offerings with friendly and efficient staff. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

A wonderful stay in an elegant, comfortable and beautifully located hotel — I would happily stay here again.
Pros:

I loved almost everything about Hotel Haven. The room was beautiful, spacious, extremely comfortable and very quiet. The hotel has a warm, elegant and sophisticated atmosphere, and the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, especially the beautiful historic setting. The location is also perfect for exploring Helsinki on foot.
