Best bang for the buck in downtown Sydney with all the comforts of home
Pros:

Location is near Chinatown and a few blocks from the tram and trains in whatever directions you need to go. We rented a 3-bedroom apartment and it was huge, clean and they had tea and coffee with sugar and milk in the kitchen for us. We didn't have maid service while we were there, but the trash shoot was around the corner from our apartment and the front desk helped us multiple times to make sure we were stocked up.

We truly enjoyed our stay and were impressed by the outstanding customer service throughout our visit. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, which made a very positive impression on our family. Chute was a superstar and shared events going on in town, checked in on us and loaned us some plug adapaters.

The apartment was huge with three bedrooms and two full baths. There is a main living area with a large screen TV with tons of on-line options and the Wi-Fi worked ok in the main area but not as good in the furthest bedrooms. One of the best showers for strength, but the temps flucuated sporadically from cooler to scalding so be careful.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and greatly appreciated the exceptional service. With some attention to the outdoor facilities and accessibility features, this would be an even better experience for future guests.

Cons:

While the accommodations themselves were comfortable and well-maintained, the outdoor common areas left a bit to be desired. In particular, the pool appeared as though it had not been cleaned recently, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, accessibility around the hot tub could be improved. My Dad had significant difficulty entering and exiting because there was only one handrail and the huge step down was quite steep. Additional railings or a more gradual entry would make the area much safer and more accessible for guests with mobility challenges.

The main doors to the apartment and garbage chute were loud and not easy to open. A neighbor woke me up at midnight because their trash was stuck in the chute and anytime anyone left the apartments, you knew it.

It was fair, couldve been better and cleaner. I hope this goes to the management.
Pros:

Leisure facilities like the gym, pool, and jacuzzi. Proximity to city spots is excellent as well

Cons:

The toiletries are poorly restocked. The body soap and handwash did not last during the entire stay. Sanitation is questionnable as well due to presence of cockroach at one point.

Everything the staff of you the location the apartment it’s my sixth time staying the pool spa the bathtub full kitchen full fridge spacious the view if you are going to have a holiday do it properly and stay at the Oaks Castlereagh

Cons:

I didn’t like it when my staycation ended & it was time to go home.

Pros:

room was incredibly clean & spacious very comfortable. Staff were friendly, hotel was very secure and safe in a very convenient location for our requirements.

Cons:

we travelled as a group of 10, with 2x 2 bedroom suites & 1x 1 bedroom suite but even after asking as we all checked in together the hotel refused to put us all on the same floor, you can only access your own floor so we spent a lot of time ringing each other and going down to meeting in the lobby to travel to another floor to be together - it was really inconvenient and wasted a lot of our time. when groups are travelling together it would be nice to locate them all together on same floor or provide access to each other
