Please note that this property does not have any policies, procedures or resources in place to accommodate the unique needs of school graduates during the annual "Schoolies Week" period. It does not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of school graduate guests during this period.
The Gold Coast is currently experiencing a large growth of new construction projects. Hi Surf, while not undergoing any works, will have construction work taking place on an adjacent block. We are advised works will begin from late December 2021 from 6:30am – 6:30pm Monday – Saturday. Expected completion 2028.
We appreciate this may cause some inconvenience to some of our guests.
However, If you are looking for an awesome place to stay, directly across from the beautiful sands of Surfers Paradise and understand that there may at times be some unavoidable noise. If your holiday plans include day trips to the Theme Parks and you plan to be out and about at the beach or exploring all that the Coast has to offer, then these works may not be of concern to you, and we look forward to welcoming you to stay with us.

I loved the apartment, very spacious. Lots of items to use. Location fantastic. Right next to the light rail so could jump straight on. Apartment was clean. Was very impressed.
Only downside was checking in. Reception was supposed to open and it wasn’t. Ended up calling the number that was provided by email and had no answer. Was waiting for over 40 minutes to check in, we had a 2 year old toddler and I am also pregnant. Not ideal being up since 3am after a long day of travel. Then when he arrived, was told “I ducked out for 5 minutes” really wasn’t impressed.
The location is unbeatable and the size of the apartment was very generous. It had a great layout for a family. The kitchen with an oven and full fridge was an added bonus.
We had pre-organised a cot for our stay as we had our 13month old with us. When we arrived (after hours) there was no cot in the apartment. It made for a restless night while our little guy was in a makeshift bed on the floor.
The apartment was fully carpeted but felt as though it needed a good vacuum.
We took my mother on holiday with us and the blanket she used had two bandaids attached - this did get replaced but it took a visit to reception and a message send the day after to happen.
It would be nice to know which apartment you were getting prior to booking - the apartment we were in was nothing like the photos. That was disappointing.
The door to the shower in the ensuite was broken and wouldn’t shut.
The toilet roll holder was broken in the main bathroom.
The wifi in our room didn’t connect and the tv screen kept glitching and freezing.
Lots of small things that all together accumulated to make us second guess our booking choice
Location, view, space and size of the unit. Step out one side and you're on the beach. The other side is a tram stop (2 stops north of Caville ave). Heated pool, sauna, tennis court. Can't ask for much more in accommodation.
We stayed in a 3bd, 2bth unit. 2 spacious couches, dining table, fully equipped kitchen, laundry with washing machine and dryer. Fantastic view of the beach. Fast elevators, wasn't crowded. Very pleased and although I thoroughly researched and will do again prior to booking again on the GC, more than likely will book again. Was quiet and yet a 10 minute walk or two stops away from a more lively scene.
Super comfortable bedding, unit was super clean.

We were allocated a unit that wasn't ready and told it would be several hours before we could settle in completely due to soiled furniture needing to dry after cleaning. As we moved into the unit, we soon discovered that more than a soiled lounge needing cleaning. Unit was disgusting. After refusing to accept the unit we were relocated temporarily to a unit on a lower level for 3 days before being relocated to a unit at an upper level as we had requested when booking for the remaining 7days of our stay. The final unit was very comfortable although balconies and all windows in all apartments were seriously in need of cleaning. In all units' attention to detail was seriously lacking.
We had two, two bedroom apartments they were both very well equipped, clean and comfortable for our holiday. Location was perfect, opposite beach, tram stop outside and a small walk to the Surfers shopping area.

The original apartment that I got put in did not match the photos that were advertised and it was very much in need of a thorough deep clean, some renovations and furniture replacement. I complained and was kindly moved to the one that resembled the photos in booking. Which was beautiful and cleaner but still could do with cleaners doing a good thorough clean occasionally not just the main bits. These apartments are privately owned and management company don’t seem to have the power to ensure they are kept to a certain standard so it’s a bit hit and miss as to how pleasant your apartment is. However ensuring cleaning staff are on point and the correct photos are matched to the correct ‘room’ when you make your selection would go a long way to improving things and being transparent.
