Dirty, smelly and not clean
Breakfast was delicious! Room was clean and tidy. Perfect location for our family visiting from south Wales for a cheerleading comp in the NEC arena.
Booking a family room (couple and 1 kid) meant we got a huge room, kingsize bed plus a ginormous terrace. Weather was rubbish but hey ho.
All staff were friendly, smiley and efficient. Breakfast was excellent (3 types of eggs!)
The sofabed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. (Daughter kid got the bed, mum got relegated!) Fortunately not 2 adults on the sofabed which would have been even worse. There is room for a real bed. Scrap sofabeds they are always terrible but this one was worse than terrible. Also very lumpy pillows.
Encourage staff to notify lift only go to the 6th floor and then find the stairs.

Groups of children banging doors causing so much noise running around all the floors we couldn’t get to sleep till after 1am we came from Edinburgh had been awake since 5 am drove 6 hours for our girls dance competition couldn’t get to sleep due to the children (boys from football group) and (girls from a cheerleading group) being unattended by there parents while they where in the bar the boys pulling there trousers down in lifts infront of our younger girls and they where just going up and down in the lifts so other people couldn’t use them was ridiculous even the staff where struggling to control the situation but they tried there best because manager wasn’t there, Can’t fault them. But our girls suffered today at competition due to this and it’s very ridiculous how nothing could done because they were a large group but everyone else had to suffer! Even the staff said there had been so many complaints I won’t be back at this hotel and I am taking this further to get a refund and possibly leaving a bad review. We had video evidence of this and I also had girls screaming in few rooms down for me.

Dirty cups, fly in sandwich, replacement had slimey salad. Very little toilet paper on arrival. All eventually sorted.

Well presented good family room
No shower curtain upon arrival at midnight, long delay upon reporting again in morning , staff very nice and accommodating and eventually gave us access to another room to be able to shower . But with a late arrival and early departure with two children not ideal
The breakfast with kids eating free was good value
The room was hot
We stayed Friday night and our room was right opposite loud venues making noise
The window wouldn't close so we couldn't shut the noise out
The carpet in the room was loose
