The location of the hotel was perfect, just a minute walk from the main street of shops. The hotel was quirky with the decoration, which we liked. We had a small issue with a lightbulb, which wasnt a big problem, but they moved us rooms to a better upgraded room for the the inconvenience, which was really nice of them and above what we expected. Breakfast was nice. There was a bar inside and seating outside which was nice to have both options, all both nicely decorated also.
We had afternoon tea here, we gave it a solid 4/5.
We requested for the sandwiches to be changed ever so slightly which was granted. They were great, particularly the coronation chicken.
The scones were good. We didn’t love the brownies -they seemed to be overridden with coffee which was a shame. The profiteroles and lemon cake were the favourite for us!
We also asked for some pina colada type cocktail which were 10/10! Definitely recommend!
Would absolutely return 🙂
Location
Staff are amazing

very quirky hotel, great atmosphere and lovely garden and bar areas
nothing
Room was very nice, very spacious and the bed was really comfortable
Location was perfect just a lot of steps
There was no parking and although we was in the hotel out 16 friends were staying in the apartments the night after and car park empty don’t see why I couldn’t have put my car there . It cos £20 to park in multi story car park for 12 hours .also was a little odd that we asked for twin beds but was given a room with a bath in the bedroom neither could use ! We booked the stay in march .
In the centre of the city. The hotel is quirky and fun. Loved the interior decor. Staff friendly.
Quirkiness if thedrvor and the good staff.
No marmalade to go with the toast.

The hotel has a beautiful relaxed feel to it. Immaculately clean, feels quite boutique with beautiful decor. The
bed was really comfortable with comfy pillows. The breakfast was really good, there was lots of choice on the menu, we had the full English which was plentiful and very tasty!
Staff are all really friendly, check in was fast and efficient.
We have stayed in chester a few times and this is by far our favourite hotel.
Nothing to not like, our stay was perfect!
Everything was great. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Comfortable bed so a good nights sleep and a good breakfast.

Die Lage und der große Restaurant- und Barbereich sind super
Die Matratze war sehr sehr weich, bei jeder Bewegung des Bettnachbarn wachte man auf.
Fantastic room, we were upgraded which was lovely! Staff were friendly and helpfull. Location brilliant.
Rooms need redecorating… the bathroom door was awful, glass , I don’t really want to see my partner sat on the toilet thank you. A decent coffee tray in the room with good quality items would be better than the awful coffee machine. Staff were lovely though . Not value for money .
Good location, nice front of house staff.
Rooms were old with no usb ports - for those wanting up-to date extras this is a no-go. The room was also cramped with an oddly placed bath within the already cramped room. We were also not made aware that it was a disabled room with accessible equipment in the bathroom.
There was no vanity mirror on the dressing table. There were ants all over the room, on the dresser and side tables, crawling on the bed, and all over the floor. Bed was two singles put together that made a substantial gap. Pillows wear awful - so badly stuffed it almost felt like cotton wool balls rather than pillow stuffing, and bed covers weren’t very warm. However it was clean.
Much more spacious than I expected. Great location
Quite dark inside and the sofa bed was completely wonky. Our guest who was supposed to sleep on the sofa bed just slept on the other sofa.
