I had porridge. Very tasty. Butter was properly served, not in a packet. Bread was delicious.

I’ve read many reviews online before choosing this hotel to go to with my mum, and then many reviews afterwards to try and address other concerns others have had. I believe any reviews here below 5 stars were writen before the new owners took charge. Wendy, Peter and their team offered an exceptional service. My mum and I have been to many hotels and spas in the world and this is for sure in our top 5.
Nature:
The surroundings are beautiful and charming, the garden peaceful and adorable, view from the hot tub wonderful.
Garden spa:
I want to be back here as soon as possible. The sauna is beautiful, well kept, and unlike many saunas, has a large window with lovely views. The hot tub is very clean and relaxing, and well taken care of. It doesn’t have this horrible chemical smell many hot tubs do. Extremely relaxing experience. Book in well in advance but don’t miss it!
Food:
We ate there for dinner and breakfast. It was good local food. It was the usual dishes you would find somewhere else, but with excellent ingredients, well prepared, or should I say prepared with care and precision. Only a happy chef and team could prepare such food, and we felt it.
Rooms and hotel:
Just beautiful! We can feel the care and attention to detail from Wendy and staff through everything. There are things you can’t fake and true hospitality is one of them. Like an infused place, you can feel the hospitality through every choice that was made as a business, and when you meet the owners you understand with no doubt where it’s coming from.
A true inspiration!
I will for sure be back and will recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil and aesthetic gateway.
Ps: be mindful if you come with public transportation it’s doable but NOT on Sundays.
