Important information:

Please note that you need to reserve a table if you would like dinner. Children under 10 years are not allowed in the restaurant after 20:00.

The reception for guests is open Monday to Friday 7am to 8pm, Saturday 8am to 6pm and Sunday 8am to 12pm. When the reception is closed the keys can be collected from the pub/restaurant.

Breakfast is served Monday to Friday 07:00 to 09:30, and Saturday and Sunday 08:00 to 10:00.

If arriving by car, be careful when using satellite navigation. After M20 junction 7, as you come into the A249, most sat-nav systems will send you the wrong side of the Pilgrims Way. Please ensure you turn right into Detling Village, NOT left towards Boxley Village.

Check-in outside of the check-in times is not possible.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Pros:

The cosy cabin we stayed in had everything we needed for an overnight stay. It was clean and very comfortable. Excellent provision for a morning drink, with good quality tea, coffee, and biscuits options, best choice we've seen for years.
The location was quiet and peaceful, yet only a short distance from all major routes.

Pros:

Großes Zimmer, großes Badezimmer (behindertengerecht), sehr schönes Restaurant mit Pub und hervorragende Küche.

Cons:

Die Bodenfugen im Bad könnten eine Sanierung vertragen, ebenso Waschbecken mit Armatur. ein Vorhang um die behindertengerechte Dusche würde eine Überschwemmung verhindern

It was fine for an overnight stay. It is a beautiful location

The rooms were basic and the bathroom was tired. There was an overwhelming smell of bleach in the room which I am sure was supposed to be reassuring but it made me wonder what had occurred with the previous guest and if this was trying to cover up some other smell. If using bleach as a general cleaning tool please switch to one with a more pleasant smell. We stayed in 'Rose' and the bathroom floor flooded with each shower taken. This was a surprise the first time that this happened and slippers and bags on the floor were soaked through
