Pros:

Cool to stay in a castle. Fun decor. Had fun exploring. Great food nearby. We had italian. So good.

Castle by the Damned
Pros:

The bed was comfortable. The shower was exceptional

Cons:

No on-site restaurant. This place should offer at least a continental breakfast. There is a restaurant nearby but that is for dinner only. The Castle is located in a poverty level community with a lot of abandoned buildings. The area brings the experience down. The only thing the castle provides is a place to sleep. For the amount you pay, you should have more.

Das Hotel ist der Hammer! Die Einrichtung als altes Ritterschloss ist sehr speziell, aber wirklich gut gemacht. Die Zimmer sind super.

A unique stay with a great story- clean affordable and a terrific place to get away!
Pros:

Really different place to stay- loved the period decor and observing a room where JFK spoke!

Cons:

The architecture, the backstory of how it became a hotel. Family run business, provided our every need. We’ve been traveling from Rochester to Scotia for the last 30 years and didn’t even know the building was there- really cool destination, clean affordable and a great story!

Close to the Erie Canal Trailway. Beautiful building.

Expérience étonnante
Pros:

Surprenant, atypique, c’est comme dormir dans un musée. Personnel charmant, propreté irréprochable, literie haut de gamme.

Cons:

Seules deux chambres sont fermées, la troisième est ouverte sur l’entrée et le salon. L’environnement immédiat est un peu triste, un seul restaurant proche.
