Location to everything we wanted to do was perfect
Welcome sign at bottom of entrance broken so we didn't know where turn in.
Easy check-in, nice front desk woman. Room was adequately sized, and reasonably quiet.
Toilet was slow-leaking when we entered the room (stream of water from the back of the toilet along the floor to the front). Front desk had someone come immediately, but they didn't fix it exactly. Towels were adequate to stem the leak.
I liked just about everything about Quality Inn & Suites Capitola By the Sea. I suppose the flat screen could have been a bit larger. Other than that, my brother and I had a wonderful experience at Quality Inn & Suites Capitola By the Sea
The flat screen could have been bigger. I feel the room could adequately accommodate a larger flat screen. That would be my one and only complaint.
The lady at the front was delightful. I felt safe.
I didn’t care for the pillows. They were too hard for me. I would come back but just bring my own.

The hotel looks very cute from the outside, great curb appeal. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room; very comfy and clean! And it was obvious they were in the middle of upgrading rooms because we saw old carpeting in the hallway that hadn't been removed yet and our room seemed to have new carpeting and tile flooring in the bathroom. Nice jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Great price for that size of room!
This was just a temporary problem but we didn't check in until after 6 PM so after going out to a late dinner and not getting back until after 9, we found out that the TV in the bedroom wasn't working. It was just a quick one night stay while traveling home after being gone 3 weeks so we didn't call to have it fixed; we just made a point of letting them know in the morning so it could be fixed for the next rental. Not a huge problem; just a little frustrating for us since we do like to watch TV in bed before falling asleep. Breakfast that was included wasn't as large as any of the others we experienced along the way on our trip (no cooked items like eggs, bacon, potatoes) but it was certainly doable.
