After a long day of driving, the facilities and staff met all our needs for rest and preparation for the next day. ☺️
The room was well air-conditioned.
The air conditioner was very noisy. The beds were old and sunken in the middle. The carpet felt wet and the room had a terrible musty smell. When we first got to our room, housekeeping had not finished making the beds. This was definitely not up to Hilton Hotel standards.
Leaving.
Food was trash
Breakfast was horrible
Pillows tucked
Staff was friendly and the room was decent.
Mattress and pillows were terribly uncomfortable! The bathroom was just kind of rundown and not very nice. The pet fee was $75 which is ridiculously high!
Since Hilton does not solicit feedback from customers I’ll provide it here. Appeared to be a very old hotel with varying degrees of upgrading. For example, the bathroom door opened inward and missed the toilet by 1/4th inch. An old shower door had been removed, new tile put on the shower walls and then the old door put back on. The metal door frame was rusted at the bottom and had been painted over. These are just a few examples. The breakfast was pitiful, however, my wife’s Caesar salad from the evening before was amazing.
Not great, but not the worst. Beds rock hard. Smelled like it used to be an old hotel where smoking used to be allowed. No pool towels available. If you book through a third party, they will tell you breakfast is included, it’s not. They charge 11.99 a person for breakfast. Overall, felt safe, not super loud, but also not super nice either.
Home away from home. From the moment I checked in in January of this year, the staff has been nothing but professional and courteous. They answer all my questions in a timely manner.
Danielle, Christina, MB, Monica Angela, Jamie, Pamela, Sabrina, Carlos and all the housekeepers all deserve raises.
Conveniently located
Bathroom shower was dated and the shower door didn't have a handle on the inside making it difficult to shut
Convenient to Highway. Adequate well lit parking.
Just left the hotel after a very unfortunate incident and a true lack of competence by Christina who appears to be the manager of sorts. I walked into the room after a long day in the heat, and discovered a large bug in the shower. After removing my things and leaving, I received a call from her. I explained the situation and explained I have a picture. Instead of being very apologetic and offering some sort of compensation, she said “we need to have maintenance go by and check out what kind of bug it was, bugs can get into rooms sometimes” and treated it like it wasn’t a big deal. Maybe it wouldn’t be a big deal at a Motel 6, but at a hotel that is $175-$225/night, this is unacceptable. On top of that, the A/C struggled and the bed was worn out with kids sized pillows to boot. Avoid at all costs.
The property smelled so clean all the time. The front desk was friendly at check in and check out.
Nothing
It’s always a pleasure to be crossing the country and land in a clean and sparkling Hilton Garden Inn. They are always laid out the same and always have everything done just right. We had Monica to thank when making our reservation, as she helped us select a room perfect for our needs: the 2-Queen Accessible 1-Bedroom Suite with Tub. It had enormously high ceilings, which made it feel even bigger than it already was (and that’s big!). Wet-bar, plus an additional half-guest bathroom with toilet and sink. Fitness room is great, as is laundry (again, so very clean) and only $1.25 per load. Thanks again, Monica!
The bed was very comfortable. The nightlight in the bathroom was a really nice surprise. I appreciate that.
The pillows were horrible and the air conditioner/heater didn't work properly.
