it was a clean and adequate facility.
Pros:

It was clean. It was easy to find. The desk clerk was pleasant.

Cons:

The Drury offered a type of happy hour with free popcorn and soft drinks. They also had breakfast and dinner included with their price. Holiday Inn Express offered free breakfast with their room rate. Hilton charges $10.95 per person for their breakfast. Hilton doesn't have a hot tub like Holiday Inn either. Basically, Hilton Garden Inn doesn't give enough "perks" in their room rate like The Drury and Holiday Inn Express.

Pros:

Check in with Pamela and she was absolutely awesome! The best smile and wonderful personality! We will make it a point in our travels to stay at the Hilton in Amarillo just to be greeted by Pamela!

Pros:

The staff was very kind, breakfast was excellent. Would’ve been nice. It would’ve been included in the price. Has other Hilton locations have a free breakfast. The bed was super comfortable. Staff was very friendly.

Cons:

The chef at the omelette/breakfast preparation bar was cooked. We ask him about things that could be put in an omelette and he said the menu is right there. You can read it. Not very accommodating, especially if someone were to have a visual impairment, such as myself.

Cons:

I didn’t like how the cook greeted me when I went for breakfast.
I wasn’t greeted with a simple, good morning.
Cook seemed to be in a bad, grumpy mood.
I did not like that at all.

Pros:

This was the BEST stay we have ever had at a hotel in Amarillo, Tx.
EVERYONE at the front desk was so kind and accommodating. Anything and everything we asked for was taken care of immediately. The girl that worked breakfast in the morning was the nicest.

Cons:

Everything was PERFECT!!!!
We will be back the next time we are in Amarillo.
