Freundlicher Service, Sauberkeit, einfaches aber gutes Frühstück. Die Lage direkt an einer öV-Verbindung in die Stadt und nahe zur Tram-Haltestelle.

Cons:

Die Türen zum Zimmer und zum Bad haben geklemmt!
Die Matratze war etwas weich. Die Abdeckung des Lichtschalters hat eine lose Schraube.

Pros:

Staff we're friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The breakfast was great and the dining room had a very relaxed atmosphere. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

The hotel could have done with some updating, but that's literally the only fault we could find. It didn't take anything away from our stay, and we would happily stay again.

Pros:

Friendly staff and a comfortable room for our final night in Scotland. The hotel was clean, breakfast was good, and the location made it easy to reach Edinburgh Airport the next day while still being close enough to explore the city.

Cons:

The hotel is a little dated in places, and having a car is helpful as it's not right in the city centre. Otherwise, everything worked well for our overnight stay.

Worst hotel in a long time.
Pros:

Cons:

Worst hotel I've sayed in for a long time.
Loud road nearby, dirty and tired decor.
Bed smelt although linen appeared to be clean.
Bathroom light was so dim hard to see, maybe on purpose as there were silver fish on the floor and mould in the shower, loose tiles.
Tiny TV and uncomfortable beds
Definitely avoid if at all possible, I won't be returning

Pros:

The breakfast is costumisable - there’s cereal and such, but you also get a warm breakfast that you can order according to your wishes (sausage/bacon/eggs prepared in different ways/tomato/beans/brown or white toast/coffee/tea). The staff is incredibly friendly and both of the bathrooms (one with a bath and one with a shower) are clean, stocked with a one shower gel, shampoo, and hand soap each. Our bed did creak a tad and the colour choice for bedroom walls was… interesting, but it was very comfortable and the curtains useful, so the downsides weren’t so bad.

Cons:

The breakfast started at 7:30, which was a tad late for us, though we adjusted.
