This hotel was the biggest surprise and delight of our trip in England! The view from the balcony can't be beat!
Pros:

This little hotel is the sweetest place we stayed on our 10 days in England. The view of the harbour is epic! The bed was comfortable. The location was stunning. The restaurant downstairs was delicious. Best food of our trip.

Aaron and Susan own and operate this sweet little hotel and fine dining restaurant. I can't say enough good things about them. They are delightful hosts and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We only stayed one night, but next time I'll make this my base for exploring Cornwall.

I highly recommend this hotel!

Cons:

We loved everything about this place. The parking can be a little tricky due to the location, but we found a good spot.

Pros:

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Harbour. The owners are so helpful and friendly and all rooms have a great view from the balcony. We will definitely be back.

Would stay again - not something I say often.
Pros:

Great to overlook the harbour. Located away from the tacky tourist area. My room was very comfortable.

Pros:

Beautiful view from the balcony. Comfortable bed, clean and helpful and friendly staff! Great for access to Newquay attractions! Even reserved me a parking space.

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit. Der Ort Newquay hat uns nicht unbedingt gefallen. Die Wanderung, ein Rundweg, war zu viel Tee
Pros:

Die Lage ist schön. Die Einrichtung ist schön. Super freundlicher Gastgeber, familiär.

Cons:

Es wird kein Frühstück serviert. Hat aber nahe ein Restaurant mit sehr leckeren overnight Oats.
Das Bett ist sehr klein für 2 Personen.

A great stay at the Harbour Hotel or " A room with a view!!!"
Pros:

A great experience at the Harbour Hotel!
Accommodation is rather basic, the rooms are clean and the view is amazing! The highlight of the stay is the meal at the restaurant and the interaction with the owners!
Fantastic seafood, fresh fish, cooked to perfection and a service going above and beyond!

I will return and would highly recommend it!!!

What a view and what a location!
Pros:

Well, the location is absolutely fantastic — right above the harbour, and you basically fall asleep to the gentle sound of the waves coming through the window.

The knives and forks in the kitchen had been left dirty by previous guests and this had been missed — these things happen — and there were a few other small details that could have been improved. But there really is very little to complain about when you have a view and location like this.

I am sure the owners keep a careful eye on the upkeep of the property and do their best to give guests a better experience, but occasionally things slip through the cracks. I was also given a room upgrade, and overall I was very happy with my stay.

Best hotel in newquay by far !
Pros:

Tho is the most friendly hotel I have ever been to ! And I have been to many . The owners are just incredible! Very accommodating ! Helped me get checked in and took us straight to the room .
because I’m disabled . The family room is so spacious! Very clean , comfy bed ! And the best view from the balcony looking straight onto the harbor. I will definitely be back. The location is perfect you couldn’t be closer to the beach ! Great value , very friendly atmosphere

What a find! Can't wait to go back again.
Pros:

We were having a walkabout in Newquay on our first visit and by chance came across this beautiful hotel and restaurant. We went in for a quick light lunch but stayed for three hours, sitting in the sun on the sheltered terrace, eating delicious food and chatting with the owners. It's a real hidden gem. We'll be back as soon as we can to stay a few days and sample all the goodies Aaron creates in the kitchen. A memorable first visit, but certainly not our last.

Cold, no water pressure and dated.
Pros:

The location and view was good.

Cons:

The shower had virtually no pressure and the water was tepid at best. I waited ages and it just wasn’t hot. Tried again in morning and still the same so tepid shower it was, I was freezing. The room was cold and the radiator seldom warmed up. The portable heater was the only thing saving me from being absolutely freezing.
The furniture and wardrobe were very old and battered. The restaurant downstairs was noisy and you could hear the hand dryer in the toilets below everytime someone used it.
The phone number on booking.com doesn’t work either so when we arrived, we were standing around for almost half an hour trying to contact someone to let us in.

Cons:

Parking was OK however can imagine summer months a bit more difficult however there are at least two car parks nearby.

Directly overlooking the harbour. Just perfect.
Pros:

Had an excellent stay. A glass of wine on the balcony of our room, watching the tide come in, was just wonderful after a long day’s walking. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Very quiet too. Located in a lovely part of Newquay with plenty of places to eat nearby. The friendly welcome at check in could not have been more pleasant.
Would definitely stay there again.
