Room that they assigned to me was quite dirty. Insanely overpriced for what you get. While I understand that it is car week and occupancy is limited in the area... it is crazy how these hotels get away with charging an arm and a leg for half a** efforts. Looks great from the outside but when you go through any of the doors, it is a major let down.
I am incredibly disappointed by our experience at the Rosedale Inn. We arrived with a confirmed reservation, as well as a separately confirmed early check-in. Despite having all of our guarantees in place, the front desk informed us upon arrival that they had no room available for us. There was an event going pn in town and I’m pretty sure they decided to overbook our room for a higher price.
While overbooking is an inconvenience, the staff's reaction made the situation significantly worse. When we asked for assistance or a solution to the problem they created, the staff actually laughed at us and flat-out refused to help. Leaving guests stranded is bad enough, but mocking them when they ask for help is entirely unprofessional. I highly recommend booking elsewhere.
Excellent value, location
Quiet location. Clean room. Nice staff.
Horrible, lumpy, uneven beds. We had a hump in the middle of ours and I felt like I was sleeping on the slope of a hill. They need to be replaced. Also, the wallpaper in some spots was peeling off. If management fixed both of these issues it would be a nice place to stay.
Location and coffee
The room and bed were very old. The shower and jet tub did not work properly. Holes in screen and ceiling fan was ancient
This property is conveniently located walking distance from Asilomar State Park. We had the King disability room. It was quite large had a fireplace, microwave, and refrigerator and coffee maker. Handicapped Parking was conveniently located immediately adjacent to the room. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful.
The only caveat I would say is that although it is a disability room. It has a shower tub, which is not accessible. That said it was not a dealbreaker because we had a short stay.
