Nice place to stay overnight or a couple of nights and the evening mealsnn be in the restaurant were

Great restaurant to eat in.

Cons:

Breakfast was good but would get fed up with the same thing if staying for more than a couple of days. Room overlooked a busy road and the windows were old so it was a bit noisy and draughty.

Nice stay
Pros:

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good location close to the motorway but from our room you couldn't hear it. Good on site parking.
Comfortable bed, slept well. Rooms felt slightly tired.
Breakfast basket was very good with the additional fruit juice, yogurts, milk and bottled water in the fridge.
The dark ale on tap in the bar was very good.
The on site restaurant I know was run independently but was also excellent. Unfortunately was shut Monday our first night. Would definitely stay again.

Cons:

Still prefer a cooked breakfast in morning, as basket in room although very nice was bit fiddly.
Again I know it's independent but would've been nice to use the restaurant on the Monday night.

Pros:

Lovely restored coaching house on the edge of Wellington. Sympathetically individually refurbished very comfortable rooms, very friendly staff and nothing too much trouble. Good real ales in the bar, good parking and very pleasant beer garden. Excellent and very generous continental breakfast in the room which is a good, and healthier, option to a cooked breakfast.
Nice vibe to the place, will stay again if in the area. Slept really well in a very quiet room overlooking the car park and garden. I wish them every success.

Excellent welcome, clean, comfortable and classy hamper for breakfast
Pros:

I've stayed here before for work and again was warmly welcomed by Jane who is a fabulous host on the bar and does look after you.
The room was a good size, the breakfast hamper provided along with water, fresh orange and milk in the fridge also is a brilliant touch....really welcomed and appreciated
The room was comfortable and clean, a work desk and good sized wardrobes. The toilet/bathroom is on the snug side, but ample for your needs. The natural lights from 2 huge corner windows were great, as the lights in the room weren't that strong - saying that I only needed to sleep in there and have breakfast! 😁
Sunday food finishes at 4 on Sunday (I arrived at five past) and isn't open on Monday - but Jane is very accommodating if you want to bring your own food into the bar, where the beer is good and prices very reasonable for a hotel bar

Pros:

The breakfast hamper provided was ample. But we would prefer to eat breakfast in the dining room. The bed was comfortable!
The bar tender/owner was pleasant.

Cons:

On arrival we asked if we could put our luggage in our rooms, we were told that it would cost us £20 a room. We were only 40 mins early and the rooms were ready! We found that very inhospitable!
We were a bit taken back as our superior king room had broken window panes and a piece of wood wedged under the window! The room needed some TLC.
The superior single was ok but the bathroom was small.
Both rooms were a bit noisy as they were facing the main road.

Pros:

Very polite and friendly staff. Clean and tidy. Good bar & comfy, decent wine, friendly locals. Late checkout.

Cons:

Included breakfast was so so but what i expected tbh,
Didn't have the restaurant open due to bereavement, so fully understand, and a shame we couldn't experience it as the reviews were good. .

Pros:

Beautiful, traditional hotel with a lot of character.
Friendly staff.
Very cozy room.

Cons:

Breakfast is just some cereal, packaged croissants, some fruit and coffee in the room. Would have preferred a hot breakfast option. A window pane us broken and doesn't close fully. This allows road noise to come through.

Pros:

First day, young man greeted us he was excellent took bags up to the room ,very pleasant helpful . Went for dinner meal was very nice, the same young man took the time to be welcoming and chatty. Room was lovely.

Cons:

Second day went for dinner, lady behind bar not very pleasant so we had our dinner then went back to our room. Completely different vibe to the night before. Window in room the glass was broken when we mentioned it she said we know!!

Pros:

I liked the traditional feel of the hotel.

Cons:

There was no way to bring fresh air into the room, which felt stuffy and warm. The bathroom was far too small and im notvtoo sure that I got the room I asked for.
