Only okay
Pros:

The staff were nice

Cons:

The room smelled bad, check in was difficult out of hours and instructions only given over the phone instead of message, parking was expensive (£10 overnight) and I was woken up early to move my car as it was in the way of another vehicle (all parked on top of eachother) long brown hairs found on/in the bed, £10 charge for dog on top of room fee for one night, bed uncomfortable, no black out blinds/drapes, room was next to car park so was disturbed by noise

Pros:

Very close to the town and the Barbican

Cons:

The bathroom needed a bit of a look at. The toilet roll holder was broken. The controls for the shower were loose. We had to ask for toilet roll. The lining in the bathroom was split, between the shower door and the floor. The shower door didn’t close properly at the top. The location to our room, was down quite a few flight of stairs.

Nice small hotel next to the Hoe.
Pros:

Great location, comfortable, spacious, clean room. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff when they were there.

Cons:

Reception closes quite early and a bit more information about meal and checking out times would have been useful. But none of this affected the quality of the accommodation on offer.
