Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick; perfekter Zimmerservice; Tiefgarage war immer kostenlos nutzbar

Personal oft "aufgesetzt" freundlich (auf dem Gang wird man keines Blickes gewürdigt); Service beim Frühstück / Abendessen passt nicht zu 5* (Geschirr wird oft nur nach Hinweis abgeräumt); Essensqualität passt teilweise nicht zum Anspruch des 5*Hotels (Rührei z. B. offensichtlich industrielles Fertigprodukt); um von den Zimmern mit Meerblick zum Restaurant oder Pool zu kommen, muss man 2 verschiedene etwas entfernt liegende Aufzüge benutzen

A wonderful stay. Friendly staff, lovely views, very clean room, spotless pools and delicious food.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean, and the balcony had a lovely view. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools were spotless, the music was great, and the food was amazing.

GREAT LOCATION WITH WONDERFUL OCEAN VIEWS AND EXTENSIVE BUFFET BREAKFASTS
Pros:

Location right on the boardwalk and within a relatively easy walk to Funchal old town (or bus ride). Buffet breakfast great with lots of different foods.
Wonderful view of ocean from balcony (assuming you pick that option) and rooms have generous sizes.

Cons:

Indoor jacuzzi needs to be serviced as had lots of problems with it.
The overall complex just needs a bit of a tidy up as it is looking a bit sad at places e g. carpets in corridors, lots of missing tiles in the indoor pool.

Pros:

Hotel bien situado en Sao Martinho, que es un barrio de las afueras de Funchal. Muy animado y con múltiples sitios de restauración. El personal es muy amable. Ofertan parking gratis lo cual es casi imprescindible, pues la zona es de aparcamiento controlado, y no es fácil poder ubicar el coche. Tiene programa de animación con música en directo todas las noches. Habitaciones amplias y limpias así como bien climatizadas.

Cons:

El buffet es mejorable, sobre todo cuando tienes la expectativa de un cinco estrellas. En ocasiones la cocina no era óptima. Optamos por el régimen desayuno-cena, y alguna cena no estuvo a la altura de lo que espera en una hotel de esta categoría.
En la piscina se bloquean con toallas las tumbonas, no pudiendo hacer uso de ella.
