Pros:

Location curata e ben organizzata. Colazione e cena ottime gestite dal sig. Enzo, un vero plus per la struttura. Sempre attento alle esigenze di tutti i clienti di cui ricorda cognome e gusti. Cosa che ti fa sentire ben accolto e coccolato. Assolutamente da consigliare

Pros:

The environment was exceptionally relaxing, pristine, and welcoming, supported by a professional and consistently attentive staff. The restaurant offered an excellent dining experience featuring a refined selection of local products and wines. The accommodations were spotless, modern, and comfortable, and the bathroom was well-maintained with modern amenities. Highly recommended!

A tranquil small hotel - would definitely return
Pros:

A beautiful small hotel in a secluded, quiet location but easy to travel to and from thanks to the complimentary shuttle bus service.
The receptionist was friendly, welcoming and extremely thoughtful in helping us make the most of our short stay on the Island.
We had some great meals at the hotel - the risotto is stunning.
The landscaping makes brilliant use of the tranquil location and stunning views.
It was spotlessly clean - rooms, communal areas and pool.

Cons:

Although the quality of food, speed of service and setting of the restaurant were excellent, we were not shown a wine list and therefore had no way of knowing what the wine would cost. The one we were recommended had a standard restaurant mark-up (at 45 Euros - fair for what it was). However, we only found out the price when we checked out of the hotel.. It would have been more courteous to explain in advance what to expect.

Relax in a modern hotel with wonderful staff
Pros:

What was most remarkable about the Hotel Grifo was its staff. The maitre d' Enzo treats the guests like personal friends that he has invited for dinner, and astonishes with his impeccable German; one of the receptionists used her car in her free time to fetch our bag which we had forgotten in a taxi; my friend was ever so happy when she got rid of an ingrown toenail in the pedicure session at the hotel. We liked lots of other things, too, like the food for breakfast and dinner, the spacy room, the view from the balcony onto the sea

Cons:

The hotel lies somewhat remote. We liked some of the places around Lacco Ameno best, but you can only reach them with your car or the always crowded public buses. Of course the hotel has a shuttle, which drives to Ischia harbour several times a day, but from there you have to face standing in the buses. I think the hotel and Ischia in general should not be so dependent on the automobile. What about e-bikes, traditional bikes or hiking?

Pros:

Abbiamo trascorso ad agosto un soggiorno meraviglioso al Grifo Hotel e non potremmo essere più soddisfatti della nostra scelta. La struttura è una vera e propria oasi di pace, arroccata in una posizione panoramica che regala una vista meravigliosa sul mare e sui tramonti di Ischia.
La camera dove abbiamo alloggiato anche se essenziale era luminosa e dotata di comfort. La pulizia al primo posto sempre!
Un punto di forza dell'hotel è l'area benessere: le piscine e la spa sono ideali per rilassarsi completamente dopo una giornata alla scoperta dell'isola.
Un plauso speciale va a tutto lo staff: accogliente, professionale e sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta con un sorriso contagioso, facendoci sentire coccolati dal primo all'ultimo giorno. Buona anche la cucina del ristorante, con piatti gustosi e ottime colazioni ricche e variegate.
Consigliatissimo a chi cerca relax, charme e un'autentica ospitalità ischitana. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare!

Pros:

Un hôtel SPA à taille humaine au calme, très propre et de bon goût. La qualité du service a l’accueil, très professionnelle et attentionnée.
Un grand merci à tout le personnel qui a été très gentil et serviable. Le service à table grâce à son majordome, son équipe, et à son chef cuisinier y est excellent. La navette gratuite est un plus.
Ischia une belle île à découvrir.
Merci à tous pour ce beau séjour !

Pros:

Siamo appena tornati dalla nostra vacanza in questo hotel ad Ischia e anche questa volta è stata perfetta. Una settimana di vero relax.
È la terza volta che scegliamo questa struttura e ogni volta ci sentiamo a casa. Camere sempre pulitissime, ottima colazione, posizione non centrale ma l’hotel offre un servizio navetta per arrivare ad Ischia centro.
Ma il vero punto di forza è lo staff: sempre gentile, disponibile, sorridente e attentissimo ad ogni esigenza. Il signor Alberto e la signora Carmela sono professionali e di cuore.
Un posto dove si torna volentieri e che consiglio a tutti. Ci rivediamo sicuramente alla prossima occasione.

abbiamo cenato tutte le sere presso la struttura, cibo squisito di alto livello accolti e consigliati sempre dal maitre di una gentilezza unica

valore aggiunto il servizio navetta sempre pronto e disponibile che ci ha consentito di raggiungere tutti i luoghi di nostro interesse senza usufruire del servizio taxi che ad Ischia mi è parso estremamente costoso

Posizionata in una zona tranquilla. Silenziosa. perfettamente mantenuta. semplice ma elegante . Accogliente, personale gentilissimo. Dispobibile e sempre sorridente. I servizi offerti sono facilmente fruibili. La piscina è comoda. La colazione è la cena sono veramente buone ed a livello. Una menzione particolare per la proprietà. Il mitico maitre Vincenzo ed a tutto lo staff Inoltre molto bella la Spa e abbiamo fatto un bellissimo massaggio rilassante

We stayed for 3 days, location was pleasant but the food service offering was limited for a 4 star
Pros:

Restaurant manager was excellent. Pool was nice. Superb bonus of mini bus service into the town. This was essential due to the location, but this was very much appreciated.

Cons:

The room was described as having a garden. Please note this was not private and your shared it as it was in front of other rooms. The pillows needed replacing. Breakfast was only ok. The air conditioning had problems during our stay, it was leaking. It appears to be a privately owned hotel and they have a lot to learn in operating as a hotel attracting modern visitors. There was no room service offered during the day, they seem to do what they always have done and do not seem to want to change or learn from feedback. The staff were always pleasant. These comments are to help their future direction.

An enjoyable stay at a most hospitable hotel
Pros:

Charming, family-run hotel that was peaceful and very clean. Family and staff were professional, friendly and super helpful. Nice facilities, convenient shuttle and delicious, reasonably-priced lunch and dinner service, if you opt for them.

Cons:

Enjoyed our stay overall though some guests might want to be situated in one of the towns along the sea. We enjoyed being higher up in a quieter area as arranging a taxi, taking a bus or using the hotel shuttle were easy options for getting around the island.

Pros:

Personale meraviglioso, dalla reception ai camerieri alla signora delle pulizie, era piacevole vedere sempre tutti col sorriso e genuinamente interessati al benessere degli ospiti.
La posizione è ottima (noi consigliamo di noleggiare un motorino o una macchina perché l'isola è grande e merita di essere visitata). Il cibo ottimo, l'albergo molto curato e pulito.

Cons:

Assolutamente niente, era tutto splendido.
