It was clean.
It goes as 5 star hotel in booking.com but was no where near it. We didn't see any staff. everything was completely self service
The room was clean, the bed was soooo comfortable!
Would have been good to have soap and shower gel in the bathroom.

TV would not work - still not by second night. No milk and sugar available first night and morning, despite the information that it was free and unlimited. There was a jar of branded coffee available with no spoon, a tiny coffee machine with 2 pods. The second night one spoon with tiny jug of cream in wine fridge below appeared.
Het kleine dorpje Bampton is rustig en landelijk. Weinig prikkels maar dat is soms ook fijn. Was even moeilijk te vinden maar de ontvangst met thee en taart maakte alles goed. Prima bedden.

Great location. Lovely room. Large bathroom.
All good although we were lucky to park outside. Might be a little bit more of a walk to your car if you had to park in the public car park.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms. We especially appreciated the upgrades to a larger room, given that we were on a long trip with lots of luggage.
Disappointed that the shared facilities like kitchen, lounge, laundry etc. that we've used on previous stays are no longer available, but still a lovely place for a short stay if travelling without too much luggage.

Not sure I actually liked that much. The host is friendly.
On the search through Booking.com it was listed as a hotel. It is not. It is an Air B&B. It also shows free parking so one might expect parking. There is none. There is a public car park about 300 yards away. There is very limited places to eat in the evening and advise you book in advance. There are tea and coffee facilities, but theses are outside of the room so you have to get dressed first. we were there for two nights and the area was not cleaned so dirty tea bags and cups left. Our room was so small there was no were to but our bags except in the shower room. The bed was as hard as sleeping on the floor but might suite some. There is a TV but the reception is so poor you can't use it.
