Pros:

Picturesque location
Excellent food
Comfortable bed and bathroom

Cons:

The TV ddn't work and the hotel said there was nothing they could do about it as the signal.kept dropping out.
The walls were thin and you could hear other guests.

Overall ok, but sadly wouldn’t book again.
Pros:

Great location with stunning view and just set off the road. Short drive to canal and forest walks

I’m sorry to say I hadn’t expected the food offering on the restaurant to be a set menu for £60. I had driven all day, but didn’t want a 3/4 course dinner. When I asked about just having a single course I was told that I could but it would cost £30, very pricey but I had no choice as I was too tired to drive anywhere else. I was told that “no guest would go hungry” but there was no other suggestion other than 1 dish for £30. I was also totally ignored at my table, I noticed that staff chatted happily to ALL the other guests in the restaurant. This made me feel very embarrassed. I just ate and went to my room. The food was ok, not hot, which I would have mentioned if someone had asked. It was a very small portion for £30. I will add that the breakfast was excellent. So just advise guests to make sure they check the menu before booking the restaurant to avoid this unnecessary situation.

We wanted for nothing and were surprised at every turn – whether that was the spacious rooms and en-suites, the views, the breakfast (best vegetarian breakfast at a hotel ever), the chef's dinner, the above-and-beyond service or the random appearance of geese and goats...

Cons:

Restaurant erg duur, omdat je alleen kunt kiezen voor een menu met een vaste, vrij hoge prijs (60 euro pp). Het eten was gelukkig wel heel goed.

Die Lage ist sehr schön, mit Blick auf den Ben Nevis.
Ausreichende Parkplätze vorhanden.
Zuvorkommende und nette Gastgeber.
Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück.

Cons:

Es ist sehr hellhörig. Man hört alles was auf dem Gang los ist.
Hatten im Voraus im Restaurant einen Tisch reserviert, was wir nicht wussten das es dort nur 6 Gänge Menüs gibt. Dies ist nicht ganz unsers.
