Breakfast was very good, room was clean and comfortable. Staff were all friendly. Excellent location close to the railway station.
My in-laws were in the room opposite but we were on the third floor and the lift only takes you to the second floor. My father in law has mobility issues and he struggled with the stairs.

It was all good.
Room was okay but the windows could do to be sorted and given a good clean, could hardly see out them, otherwise room was very clean, and bathroom was excellent, didn`t have breakfast as we were catching a train at 7.40am so didn`t have time.
Windows sorted and cleaned would have made a big difference to the room.
Very friendly staff, bed very comfortable, the room was very clean with good shower, food was very good my wife had fish & chips and rated them as good as she's had. Perfect location for the railway and heritage centre.
The lack of a lift to the upper floors due to the age of the building, could be difficult for older residents. The lady on reception was able to move us from the third to second floor to take out one flight. The lady also suggested in future when booking to call and they would always try to accommodate you on the first floor which does have a lift. Very comfortable seats are strategically placed on all landings. One other minor point was it would be useful to have some signage in reception to indicate the location of the restaurant / bar.

Old broken window, very hot, bathroom vent was very noisy for a long time after switching it off, the floor boards very noisy, the bed was too small and the sockets wouldn’t fit my plug small room and the door was old and didn’t seem safe several locks but only one you use
Very helpful staff when asked about check in times. Key was left as we had been at a wedding all day and didn’t need to go back and check in due to prior arrangements which was very helpful
Mentioned the room was a bit light through night due to new street lamp but was unaware there was a black out blind so my fault for not double checking
So close to the centre and the station. Staff were excellent, always willing to assist.
The single room was smaller than expected, especially since there is not a big difference in price to a double. My friend was in a double and she also had a fridge, which is always beneficial.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and tidy. Loved the extra seating in the room. New bathrooms and very modern feel with a touch of homely.
Nothing, the only thing is we assumed by the ad is that parking was provided by the hotel. But this was minor issue, plenty of on the road parking.
